Patent number: 12227334Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for a multisensory examination jar for botanical specimens. Embodiments of the disclosed jar may have a body portion with an integrated LED array for illuminating the contents of the jar. The jar may have a removable lid with an integrated magnifying lens, and an opening or port to enable a user to smell the contents of the jar. The opening may have a removable plug to establish a substantially air tight seal on the lid of the jar, to trap odors within the jar. The removable plug can be selectively removed to enable the user to smell the contents of the jar. The jar may have an electronics module and power source operable for wireless charging. The jar may also be configured to interface with a charging dock or base for wireless charging of integrated batteries.Type: GrantFiled: October 23, 2023Date of Patent: February 18, 2025Assignee: All Plastic, Inc.Inventors: Sam Whetsel, Daniel Einhorn

Patent number: 12194960Abstract: A badge assembly may include a badge having a display surface and an opposite mounting surface, and a sensor module mountable to a motor vehicle and including a deflectable wall with an electrically conductive film affixed thereto, and at least one sensor spaced apart from the electrically conductive film and configured to produce at least one sensor signal. The badge is mounted to the deflectable wall with at least one protrusion extending between and in contact with the mounting surface and the deflectable wall. The at least one protrusion concentrates force applied to the display surface of the badge to the deflectable wall to cause the deflectable wall to deflect toward the at least one sensor to produce a detectable change in the at least one sensor signal, the detectable change in the at least one sensor signal causing a change of state of the access closure.Type: GrantFiled: April 3, 2023Date of Patent: January 14, 2025Assignee: ADAC Plastics, Inc.Inventors: Keith Scheiern, Tyler John Marvin, Thomas William Allen, Anne Adamczyk

Publication number: 20240294729Abstract: A process and a system for depolymerizing plastic, such as waste polyester, into marketable monomers. A heterogeneous mixture of plastic particles, a solvent, and a catalyst are pumped continuously through a heating zone at a flow rate just high enough to maintain a particle speed great enough to keep the plastic particles in suspension. The temperature of the heterogeneous mixture is raised in the heating zone and maintained in a hold zone to complete depolymerization of the mixture into a homogeneous solution containing a liquefied plastic monomer. The homogeneous solution is cooled to solidify and precipitate the monomer. The precipitated monomer is separated from the solvent to be recycled. The solvent is recirculated to be reused as a constituent of the heterogeneous mixture.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 13, 2024Publication date: September 5, 2024Applicant: Premirr Plastics Inc.Inventors: Matthew Craig Parrott, James Christopher Luft, Donald B.
