Abstract: A pig launcher (10, 38) comprises a cassette (12, 41) adapted to receive at least one pig (14, 16, 18, 20) and a latch mechanism (28a, 28b, 28c, 28d, 42a, 42b, 42c) comprising a latch member (30, 46). The latch member is movable from a first protruded position wherein the latch member restricts movement of the pig relative to the cassette in a launch direction to a second retracted position wherein the latch member does not restrict movement of the pig in the launch direction. The pig launcher also comprises a flow control valve (30, 32, 35, 36, 44a, 44b, 44c, 48) which is adapted to pass fluid into the cassette when in an open state and to restrict flow of fluid into the cassette when in a closed state. The arrangement is such that the latch mechanism and the flow control valve are operatively associated with each other so that when the latch member moves from the first protruded position to the second retracted position the flow control valve simultaneously moves from the open state to the closed state.

Abstract: A three-way diverter valve comprising a rotatable valve member to which are mounted a number of sealing faces, each face being adapted to seal against one of the inlet or outlet of one of the paths the member being movable between a first position in which both the inlet and outlet of a first path are sealed, and both the inlet and outlet of the second path are open for fluid to flow therethrough, and a second position in which both the inlet and outlet of the first path are open for fluid to flow therethrough and both the inlet and outlet of the second path are sealed, movement of the member effecting sealing or opening of the inlet and outlet of each flow path substantially simultaneously, both paths being at least partially open for fluid to flow therethrough when the member is between the first and second positions.

Abstract: A sliding vane type rotary pump having two sets of radially slidable vanes and two rotors, each vane set cooperating with a rotor to form a separate pump section with plural chambers. Each pump section is longitudinally spaced one from the other on a pump shaft's axis interiorly of a common housing. A common pump outlet and a common pump inlet are positioned between the two pump sections to provide fluid inflow and fluid outflow. The inflow to and outflow from each pump section's vane/rotor defined chambers is generally parallel to the pump shaft's longitudinal axis, and is through the side face of the pump section defined by each set of chambers.
