Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for determining an intensity and/or a phase of intensity modulation of an intensity-modulated electromagnetic radiation signal, having a detector and imaging optics for imaging an intensity-modulated radiation signal onto the detector. In comparison with this, the present invention addresses the problem of providing an apparatus for reducing scattered light influences on an intensity and/or phase determination of the intensity modulation of an intensity-modulated electromagnetic radiation signal.
Abstract: An illumination circuit for a time-of-flight camera includes at least one light source. At least one switch is configured to influence the at least one light source. At least one current limiter is disposed in a current path of the at least one light source. A parallel capacitor is disposed parallel to the at least one current limiter. The at least one light source can include a light-emitting diode and the at least one current limiter can include at least one of a limiting resistor, a limiting switch and limiting diode.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and an electronic circuit for processing at least two at least partially correlated output signal streams of a mixer, the mixer having at least two signal inputs and at least two electric signal outputs. In order to provide a method and a device or an electronic circuit which enables the correlated signal portions of the output signals of a mixer to be separated from the uncorrelated signal portions undelayed, it is proposed according to the invention that the difference of the output signal streams of the mixer is formed pairwise directly and during the readout of the signal streams and that the circuit has an apparatus for the instantaneous formation of the difference between the signal streams of two mixer outputs in each case.
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for detecting electromagnetic waves, especially for also detecting the phase and amplitude of electromagnetic waves, using elements that react sensitively to incident electromagnetic waves. The aim of the invention is to provide a method and a device for detecting the phase and amplitude of electromagnetic waves that are economical as possible and also allow relatively high resolution. To this end, the invention provides that the device has two different pixel types, one pixel type being essentially only sensitive to intensity and the other pixel type being essentially only sensitive to phase. Accordingly, two different pixel types are used in the method, one of which reacts essentially to the intensity of the incoming electromagnetic waves, while the other pixel type is phase-sensitive.
