Abstract: There is provided a method for data transmission in a communication system, including: transmitting part of data to be transmitted from one terminal to another terminal depending on a maximum transmission tolerable capacity; when the transmission of the data is stopped during the transmission, storing information on a capacity of the partial data lastly validly transmitted from said another terminal and information on a corresponding session; when a next session begins after stop of the current session, transmitting the information from said another terminal to said one terminal to recognize the information as a session upon restart; and finding, at said one terminal, data at the time when the transmission is stopped, and transmitting the data following partial data at the stopping time to said another terminal.
Abstract: A method, device and recorded medium having recorded the method, for providing directions information applied with real-time traffic condition reports are disclosed. An aspect of the present invention features a method and device that can receive traffic condition reports in real-time and provide directions information applied with the pertinent traffic condition reports. Accordingly, with the present invention, the directions information can be generated by using first real-time traffic condition reports. Then, the path directions applied with the change of traffic condition reports according to the time flow can be acquired and provided to a user.
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and a system for providing a location-based alert service in a wireless communication environment, wherein, in a case where a specific user is located in a certain zone using a mobile communication terminal and a mobile communication network, the number of location inquiries is minimized using a moving distance ratio, a moving direction and a Minimum Bounding Rectangle (MBR) in providing the a location-based alert service for informing that the specific user is located in a certain zone.
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for providing a navigation service by using a MS-Based GPS scheme in a mobile communication system including a mobile communication terminal, a PDE, a LBS platform and a road guidance service server, which comprising: (a) the road guidance service server selecting a road guidance service mode, receiving information of a starting point and a destination of the mobile communication terminal through the LBS platform, and receiving request signals for travel route information; and (b) generating the travel route information according to the received request signals, and transmitting the travel route information to the mobile communication terminal, wherein the road guidance service server computes a shortest travel route, transmits the shortest travel route to the mobile communication terminal, and, when a vehicle deviates from a travel route, the road guidance service server re-searches for a route to the destination, and transmits the travel route to the mobile communication terminal.
