Abstract: Apparatus and methods for managing data in a computer system are disclosed. An example apparatus is to at least: determine a geographic location of a computing device associated with a user, the computing device remote from a data storage device, the data storage device including main data, first subsidiary data, and second subsidiary data associated with the user; change from the main data to a selected one of the first subsidiary data or the second subsidiary data based on the geographic location; and modify the selected one of the first subsidiary data or the second subsidiary data via the computing device.

An example apparatus includes a transaction aggregator to monitor transactions with respect to a user device and a transaction engine regarding content provided to the user device; and transaction services to process the transactions from the transaction aggregator to at least: determine occurrence of an event with respect to the user device based on an evaluation of the transactions; when the event is determined to occur, trigger a notification of the event to the user device; and update a record based on the processing of the transactions.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods managing and controlling access to data are disclosed. An example method for managing data in a computer system includes: a processor effecting storage of first subsidiary data in the data storage device, the first subsidiary data representing information related to a customer account; the processor effecting storing of second subsidiary data in the data storage device, the second subsidiary data representing at least a portion of the information related to the customer account; the processor effecting a determination of a geographic location of a computing device that is remote to the computer system; and, in response to the processor determining that the geographic location of the computing device meets a predefined criterion, the processor effecting a change to the first subsidiary data and a related change to the second subsidiary data.
