Abstract: A Thermal Transparency Control Device (TTCD), comprising: an inner layer of Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal (PDLC) capable of changing an arrangement of liquid crystals comprised therein, in response to a change in a level of voltage supplied to the PDLC, so that the inner layer becomes more transparent as the voltage increases, thereby enabling more thermal radiation to pass through the inner layer; the inner layer placed between two outer layers of material wherein at least part of each of the two outer layers enables thermal radiation passage therethrough and wherein each of the two outer layers comprises an electrical interface that is in contact with the inner layer.
Abstract: A thermal signature generating device, the device comprising: at least one thermal radiation emitting element, each of the at least one thermal radiation emitting elements extending between two spaced-apart opposite solid surfaces defined by two opposite electrodes and comprising an array of Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs), the array being connected by its two opposite ends to the two opposite electrodes, respectively, and extending along a space between the electrodes, the electrodes providing electrical current through the thermal radiation emitting element, causing the thermal radiation emitting element to emit thermal radiation for generating the thermal signature.
Abstract: A camouflage sheet including a substrate of shapeable material capable of retaining its shape, for forming a three dimensional structure to provide a heat signature not characteristic of the object, the shapeable material being re-shapeable on site, and a visible pattern on the shapeable material mimicking the surroundings of the object to be protected, for protecting an object from detection in both the visible and the IR spectrum.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a tool holder for holding tools by means of a magnet, which includes a finger socket permitting the tool holder to be mounted on a fingertip for manipulating tool bits or other accessories. The tool holder includes a finger socket and a tool holding portion coupled to the finger socket. The tool holding portion is at least partially formed of material having magnetic properties. Preferably, the magnetic tool holder may include a bit wrench, a socket wrench, screw bits or an element holder.
