  • Patent number: 11353213
Abstract: A temperature sensor (1) for gas burner (2) having a thermocouple (11) comprising electric conductors (15) and a connection element (12) to connect to the burner (2) associated with a free end (18) of such thermocouple (11), said connection element (12) being suitable for being inserted inside a seat of the sensor (8) formed inside a wall (4) of the burner (2) and having a first end (26) suitable for being placed at the outer surface (6) of the burner (2), said thermocouple (11) being inserted inside a blind hole (29) of the connection element (12) which opens at a second end (28) of said connection element (12). Said blind hole (29) ends with at least one part (31) convergent towards an end zone (K) of the hole (29), said part (31) getting in contact with the thermocouple (11) inserted inside the connection element, the connection element (12) being made from an iron-chrome-aluminum alloy. An assembly comprising such temperature sensor and a burner is also claimed.

  • Patent number: 11215358
Abstract: A new and improved gas fired burner unit that can be utilized in applications where low emissions and high efficiency are desired including a burner body having a lower housing unit with a bottom portion, a distribution element located above the bottom portion, a burner deck located above the distribution element, and a metal fiber mesh element located above the burner deck. The burner deck supports the metal fiber mesh and spaces the metal fiber mesh from the internal distribution element to define a burner head. At least one inlet conduit communicates with the burner body and extends into the burner body to deliver a gas/air mixture to the burner body in a region located below the distribution element and above the bottom portion of the lower housing unit. The burner head has a permeability greater than 700 liters per hour, and the bottom portion of the lower housing unit includes a plurality of ribs providing added rigidity to the burner body and eliminating combustion noise.

  • Patent number: 10801721
Abstract: A gas-fired boiler comprises at least one burner (1) and feeding means (4) for feeding a fluid to such burner (1), said feeding means (4) being connected to a fan (5), a gas duct (7) being provided to feed gas to said fan (5). The burner comprises at least a first main flame-diffuser element (25) and a second auxiliary flame-diffuser element (26, the feeding means being a feeder duct (4) connected to the main diffuser element (25) and to the fan (5), said fluid comprising air or a mix of air and gas which is sent in such feeder duct (4), a tubular body (17) connected to the auxiliary diffuser element (26) opening in said duct (4), a gas carrying pipe (10) opening directly in such tubular body (17).

  • Patent number: 6062849
Abstract: This invention concerns a combustible gas atmospheric burner of the so-called "small-ramp type", comprising at least a body (1) consisting of two half-shells in a vertical plane of symmetry, configured in the lower part as a venturi tube (4), wherein the mixture of combustible gas and air is introduce by way of a nozzle (18). In its upper part it has a head made of high-temperature resisting material where the combustion takes place. The upper part of the burner body has portions of different cross-section so that the mixture exits from the said head in such a manner that its output is essentially uniform and of a laminar nature along the entire longitudinal dimension, which gives rise to a reduction in the noise emitted by the burner, as compared with similar arrangements of a known type.
