Abstract: A computer-implemented method of providing services using a digital network in an emergency context is provided. In some embodiments, information about a person may be delivered across a network to assist in an emergency medical situation related to that person. The information may be obtained by receiving into the network data indicative of an emergency contact for a person, medical information related to the person, and an emergency personal page pass phrase. Based on the data, an emergency medical card is generated and delivered to the user. The user carries the card on their possession and it may be used in case of an emergency.
