  • Publication number: 20120188070
Abstract: An exemplary circuit arrangement for a belt lock of a passenger restraint system in motor vehicles includes one contact sheet pair having a fixed contact sheet and an elastic contact sheet which interacts with a slide. The slide is a component of a locking mechanism located in a belt lock housing for an inserted belt tongue, and is pushed in a displacement channel from a first end position into a second end position when the locking mechanism is actuated. The contact sheet pair is in a housing part which borders the displacement channel. A part, which projects from the elastic contact sheet through a housing wall opening into the displacement channel, is exposed to the action of the slide to open or close an electrical contact to the contact sheet. The circuit includes means for preventing abraded matter from traveling into the contact region of the contact sheet pair.

  • Publication number: 20110114459
Abstract: A switch arrangement is disclosed that can, for example, be used for installation in a belt lock of a seat belt system, and which includes a fixed contact part and an elastic switching contact part, which are located on a mounting plate. The switching contact part can have at least one extension that projects over the outside surface of the mounting plate in the operating position. When the switching contact part is exposed to pressure in the direction of the mounting plate, an electrically conductive contact between the switching contact part and the fixed contact part can be interrupted or established. A fixing device can be included via which the switching contact part is pretensioned in such a way that the extension does not project over the outer surface of the mounting plate. The fixing device can be detached when the switch arrangement is being mounted with release of the elastic switching contact part.

  • Publication number: 20110084827
Abstract: A belt lock for a seat belt equipped with a locking mechanism that is arranged in a belt lock housing. The locking mechanism has a component that changes its location from a first end position into a second end position and detects a locking status. In the actuation of the locking mechanism, the component that changes its location interacts with the detector of the locking status. The locking status is detected by an electromechanical switch that is arranged in the vicinity of the component that changes its location and can be actuated upon its movement from the first into the second end position.

  • Patent number: 7852068
Abstract: A switch adapter is integrateable into a seat belt lock and used for monitoring the locking and unlocking state of the lock. The switch adapter includes a monolithic plastic part and is at least two adapter areas which are movable with respect to each other. The first adapter area carries a first switch element and the second adapter area carries a second switch element. The switch adapter is suitably integrateable into the lock of the seat belt which is provided with a frame and a locking element which is movably mounted so as to switch the seat belt buckle between a locking position and an unlocking position. The switch adapter is used for detecting the locking state of the seat belt locking element.
