Patent number: 8091157Abstract: A modular portable cabana-type restroom includes a roof, base platform, foot portions, side wall panels, a back wall panel, four corner portions and a door. The side wall panels and back wall panel are provided with vertically-disposed hooks for interlocking with complementary slots along the edges of the corner portions. The roof is provided with clips for engaging the corner portions. This permits convenient interlocking removable assembly of the wall panels, corner portions and roof without the use of mechanical fasteners, such as rivets, screws or nuts and bolts. Recesses in the foot portions accept the insertion of the corner portions and corners of the base portion, which are then secured together through formed apertures using a minimum number of mechanical fasteners. This provides for easy assembly and disassembly of the restroom for transport, repair and storage.Type: GrantFiled: February 25, 2009Date of Patent: January 10, 2012Assignee: PolyJohn Enterprises CorporationInventors: Daniel G. Patent number: 7730561Abstract: A used water removal system for a stand-alone hand-wash sink station having a vertically elongated used water storage tank and within which a vertically elongated, fresh water tank is positioned. A sink basin disposed above the used water storage tank drains used water into the used water storage tank. A water line conveys water from the fresh water tank to a faucet located above the sink basin. An inverted, vertically elongated, U-shaped tube is arranged within the station alongside the fresh water tank. One end of the tube opens into the used water storage tank near its lower end. The second end of the tube opens to the outside of the station. The curved bight of the tube is located at a height that is above the maximum height of the used water within the used water storage tank. Water may be rapidly removed from the tank by temporarily applying suction to the second end of the tube to siphon used water through the tube and out of the used water storage tank.Type: GrantFiled: February 28, 2006Date of Patent: June 8, 2010Assignee: PolyJohn Enterprises CorporationInventor: Jamie Phillip Kostelyk

Patent number: 6427256Abstract: A knockdown portable toilet cabana comprises substantially identical panels forming opposite, vertical side walls and a rear wall, and a front panel having an access opening with a door covering the opening and hingedly connected to the front panel. The lower edges of the panels are engaged with a floor forming base and a covering roof is arranged at the upper ends of the panels. The lower edges of the panels and the corresponding peripheral edges of the base are provided with interconnecting channels and tongues for releaseably attaching, and for detaching the panels and the base. The upper edges of the panels and the corresponding edges of the roof are provided with releaseable connectors for attaching and detaching the roof from the panels. Elongated channel members frictionally engage and releaseably connect together the adjacent vertical edges of the panels. A toilet waste holding tank is removably positioned within the cabana.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 2000Date of Patent: August 6, 2002Assignee: PolyJohn Enterprises CorporationInventors: Rodney M. Patent number: 5560050Abstract: A combined toilet and waste holding tank is provided for mounting within a portable toilet cabana having side walls, a rear wall, and a front wall with a door and a floor. The tank extends along the rear wall and between the side walls and occupies roughly the rear half of the cabana floor space. The toilet includes a ring-like structure having a rear portion opening directly into the tank through a cover panel upon the upper surface of the tank, and also having a forward extending, bowl-like portion which is integral with and extends forwardly of the front wall of the tank. The cabana has a rear-to-front extending central axis which approximately bisects the cabana. The toilet structure is located substantially on one side of the cabana axis, so that it is closer to one side wall of the cabana and the toilet is acutely angled relative to the cabana axis.Type: GrantFiled: January 30, 1995Date of Patent: October 1, 1996Assignee: PolyJohn Enterprises CorporationInventor: Richard L. Patent number: 5500962Abstract: An outdoor toilet cabana is formed of pair of side walls whose opposite vertical edges are bent to form angled corner sections having their free edge portions bent into vertical strip-like flanges that extend in approximately the same plane towards the opposite, corresponding flanges of the opposite wall. A rear wall has side edge strip-like portions that are aligned in approximately the same plane as the flanges of the side wall. Extruded strips are formed with oppositely opening channels to receive the adjacent side wall flanges and rear wall edge portions. These channels are deeper than the portions of the flanges and rear wall strips received therein so that they can accommodate variations in wall dimensions while still providing a rigid cabana of pre-determincd size. A doorway is formed between the flanges on the forward side of the side walls. A substantially continuous extruded doorway edge strip extends along the jambs and the header of the doorway.Type: GrantFiled: January 30, 1995Date of Patent: March 26, 1996Assignee: Polyjohn Enterprises CorporationInventor: Richard L.
