Patents Assigned to Polymer/Raymond Industries
  • Patent number: 4602792
Abstract: A dual function gasket adapted for insertion into a suitable groove formed in the bell of an associated pipe includes an annular gasket body made of a resilient material. The body terminates radially inwardly in a leading lip and a pressure activated sealing lip spaced rearwardly therefrom. An annular groove is provided in the gasket body and an annular locking ring may be selectively inserted into the groove. The ring is made of a material harder than the gasket body and is inserted into the groove when a high pressure seal is desired. The ring may be removed when only a low pressure seal is desired.

  • Patent number: 4602793
Abstract: A gasket assembly suitable for sealing between two pipe members in a high pressure pipeline includes an annular gasket body made of a resilent material. The body terminates radially inwardly in a leading lip and a pressure actuated sealing lip. The leading lip has a pipe centering and cleaning face and a compression sealing face. An enclosed annular groove is provided in the gasket body with an annular retaining ring being provided in the groove. The ring is made of a material harder than the gasket body and functions to retain the gasket body in the pipe groove.

  • Patent number: 4555885
Abstract: A resilient, pressure-locking filler strip is provided for closing a gap or joint of a wall panel assembly. The filler strip has a flange portion for enclosing the gap and a pressure-locking clip for compressive retention in the gap. The clip is selectively cooperable with the flange portion for ready interchange of a plurality of different size clips for retention in a plurality of different size gaps. The clip includes first and second opposed gripping portions for compressive engagement to associated side wall portions of the gap. In one embodiment the flange portion comprises a first flange and a second flange depending normally away from the first flange for enclosing a gap or joint at a wall corner. In another embodiment the flange portion comprises a first flange and a second flange coplanar with the first flange for enclosing a gap in a flat wall section of the wall assembly. Preferably, the pressure-locking filler strip is a plastic extrusion.
