Abstract: An air conditioning unit including a condenser, a compressor, an evaporator system having an evaporator coil and a plurality of evaporator fins in contact with the evaporator coil, wherein the evaporator system forms a generally hollow cylindrical shape, a blower having an intake side and an exhaust side, the blower adapted to draw a volume of air through the plurality of evaporator fins and expel the volume of air in a direction generally perpendicular with a longitudinal axis of the evaporator system, and an exhaust shroud arranged adjacent the exhaust side of the blower, wherein the exhaust shroud is adapted for rotational movement about the longitudinal axis of the evaporator system, the compressor is arranged in fluid communication with the evaporator system and the condenser, and the evaporator is arranged in fluid communication with the condenser.

Abstract: A camming dog configured for use with a window having a frame and a hinged lens. The camming dog includes an angled base having a base mounting portion and a handle mounting portion, wherein the base mounting portion is secured to the frame, the base mounting portion is disposed at an angle relative to the handle mounting portion, the angle is less than ninety degrees. The camming dog further includes a handle having an arm boss, wherein the handle is rotationally secured to the handle mounting portion of the angled base and rotates about an axis of rotation. Upon rotation of the handle to an open position, the hinged lens rotates unimpeded past the arm boss and upon rotation of the handle to a closed position, the hinged lens is secured within the frame by the arm boss.
Abstract: A portlight for a marine vessel including a lens having an outer surface, an inner surface and a first sealing surface disposed at a first angle relative to the outer surface, wherein the first angle is greater than ninety degrees, a portlight frame having a flange, an extension and a second sealing surface disposed at a second angle relative to an outer surface of the flange, wherein the second angle is less ninety degrees and supplementary to the first angle, a sealing gasket disposed between the first and second sealing surfaces, and a hinge rotatably secured to the extension and fixedly secured to the lens, wherein rotation of the hinge to a closed position causes the first sealing surface to compress the sealing gasket against the second sealing surface in the absence of undesirable shearing of the gasket.
Abstract: A base for a marine hatch including a planar exterior flange running in a plane substantially parallel with a boat hull or deck, an angular leg running generally transverse to the planar exterior flange, the angular leg terminating in a spigot, wherein the spigot is substantially perpendicular to the exterior planar flange, the spigot is operatively positioned so that the spigot runs substantially parallel to a neutral bending axis, and the neutral bending axis passes through or is directly proximate the spigot, and an elevated sealing bead for engaging with a hatch cover, the planar exterior flange and the angular leg being integral with the elevated sealing bead.
