At least some of the illustrative embodiments are methods of handling pipe comprising placing a pipe on a conveyor when the conveyor is below a floor of a drilling rig (the pipe originating selectively from a first side of the conveyor or a second side of the conveyor, the second side opposite the first side), and raising the conveyor to be in operational relationship to the floor of the drilling rig.
