Abstract: A foldable and self-erecting display stand has an easel mounted at the rear surface of a large planar board. The planar board and the easel are together foldable along a plurality of horizontal fold lines to a compact collapsed state. The easel has a U-shaped horizontal cross section and two mutually parallel triangular side walls. A plurality of pivotable cross braces extend in a canti-lever manner from a body board of the easel. A plurality of elastic cords are mounted between the cross braces and the side walls of the easel. The side walls of the easel are foldable to a collapsed position juxtaposed to the planar board against the elastic force of the elastic cords for folding the display stand to the collapsed state. The elastic cords are in a stretched condition when the display stand in the collapsed state, and the cross braces cooperate with the stretched elastic cords to self-erecting the display stand from the collapsed state to the erected state.

Abstract: The foldable display stand has a stepped display shelving portion removably mounted over a foldable support base. The shelving portion is formed by folding various parts of a configuration formed on a single sheet material. The configuration includes a plurality of rectangular panels connected by a plurality horizontal fold lines. Side extensions are formed on the two side edges of the rectangular panels which are foldable to form side wall of the shelves and the side walls are mounted in place by mounting tabs formed in the side extensions and mounting slots formed in the selected rectangular panels. Side extensions having a unique design are adapted to form reinforced side walls of the shelves.

Abstract: Foldable display stands with a vertical board for showing merchandise are provide with a self erecting base to provide stability to the stand when merchandise is placed or mounted on the stand. The stand two has parallel vertical easel panels mounted at its rear surface and are either foldable to lie juxtaposed to the rear surface or self erected to support the vertical board to rest in a substantially vertical manner on a supporting surface. The base is foldable along a vertical center line of its two side panel to a collapsed condition. A rectangular top panel or two rectangular top panels may be provide in the base when the base is generally rectangular in shape. The stabilizing base is self erecting with elastic cords mounted between the side panels and top panels of the base and the vertical board.
