  • Patent number: 12345281
Abstract: A method for controlling a gear pump by a control device to compensate a tooth engagement-induced volume flow pulsation to reduce noise emissions. The method includes acquiring a gear angle and an actual speed of the gear pump; keeping a relationship between a respective modulation angle and an amplitude of a pilot control torque of the gear pump to compensate the volume flow pulsation to an actual speed; modulating the pilot control torque on the basis of the acquired gear angle, a predetermined correction angle, the modulation angle, a number of teeth of the gear pump and the amplitude; and driving the gear pump with a drive torque overlaid with the modulated pilot control torque. The modulation angle is calculated using a PT element with the actual speed as the input variable.

  • Patent number: 12337798
Abstract: A motor vehicle has a rear seat bench, a storage compartment arranged behind the rear seat bench in the direction of travel, and a storage compartment floor. A hat shelf is positionable behind the rear seat bench in a usage position such that it separates a passenger compartment from the storage compartment. In order to thereby provide an easily actuatable hat shelf which is also sturdy when in its non-usage position in the motor vehicle, a gap is provided between the rear seat bench and the storage compartment floor. The hat shelf and the gap interact such that the hat shelf can be inserted into the gap in a non-usage position and can be fixed to the rear seat bench via a fixation device such that, in its non-usage position, the hat shelf adjoins a rear side of the rear seat bench.

  • Patent number: 12341214
Abstract: A battery module for a partially or fully electrically operated vehicle, having a battery housing, which has a main body with at least one open end, and at least one battery cell stack, which has a carrier plate at least at one end. The battery cell stack has been introduced into the main body such that the carrier plate substantially closes off the open end of the main body. On the carrier plate, there is provided an at least sectionally peripheral seal, which projects from the carrier plate and bears at least sectionally against the inner surface of the main body. The seal is of air-permeable form, so that, during the introduction of a fluid of relatively high viscosity into an intermediate space between the battery cell stack and the inner surface of the main body, displaced air can escape from the main body through the seal.

  • Patent number: 12330610
Abstract: Apparatus for guiding air toward a wheel brake of a motor vehicle. The apparatus includes an air guide element, which can be displaced between a retracted rest position, in which the same is retracted in relation to an undercarriage of the motor vehicle, and an extended operating position, in which the same is extended in relation to the undercarriage. The air guide element can be displaced, via a hydraulic adjustment mechanism between the rest position and the operating position. The hydraulic adjustment mechanism includes a hydraulic cylinder and a return element. In the presence of brake actuation, the hydraulic cylinder can be filled with brake fluid in order to displace the air guide element from the rest position to the operating position. In the absence of brake actuation, the return element displaces the air guide element from the operating position to the rest position.

  • Patent number: 12330566
Abstract: A vehicle audio system includes a loudspeaker configured to be acoustically coupled to an interior of a vehicle and to be ducted to an exterior of the vehicle as well as a controller coupled to the loudspeaker. The controller is configured to (i) detect one or more vehicle operating parameters of the vehicle that would result in a pressure differential condition between the interior and the exterior, and (ii) adjust a gain of an audio signal provided to the loudspeaker in response to detecting the vehicle operating parameters.

  • Patent number: 12334783
Abstract: A joining tool (10) is provided for pressing a disk (12) to a shaft (14) that has opposite first and second ends. The first end (18) of the shaft (14) is received in a press table (22) and the second end (24) of the shaft (14) is received in a centering receptacle (26). A press plate (34) axially presses the disk (12) onto the shaft (14). A resilient ram (40) is provided on a side of the press plate (34) that faces toward the disk (12) and compensates for an axial run-out of the disk (12) relative to the press plate (34). The resilient ram (40) of the joining tool (10) enables the disk (12) that has an axial run-out to be pressed onto the shaft (14) in a correspondingly sloped manner, with the result that a rotor shaft (16) with a satisfactory bond is made possible.

  • Patent number: 12330353
Abstract: A method for producing a fibrous composite material component, in particular for a vehicle. According to the method, at least one dry woven fabric layer is initially provided, wherein the woven fabric layer includes carbon fibers. A binder is then applied to the woven fabric layer. Further, the woven fabric layer is reshaped into a preform layer, wherein the binder is activated during the reshaping and the woven fabric is stabilized in the reshaped shape. The preform layer is then applied to further woven fabric layers in order to strengthen the shape. The connection of the preform layer and the further woven fabric layers thus results in a preform, which is inserted into a molding tool for carrying out an RTM process. Then, the RTM process is carried out in order to obtain a fibrous composite material component.
