Abstract: A security system for use in a vehicle includes a first device configured for mounting in a first location of a vehicle, and a second device configured for mounting in a second location of a vehicle different from the first location. The first device includes a first image capture sensor facing a first direction and a first object detection module operative to detect the presence of an object exterior to a vehicle in which the first device may be mounted. The second device includes a second image capture sensor facing a second direction and the second direction different from the first direction.

Abstract: An in-vehicle security device mountable to a surface to the rear of a rear-view mirror of a vehicle, comprising: a first image capture device configured to receive images in a first direction relative to the security device; a second image capture device facing a second direction, the second direction different from the first direction; and a first object detection module configured to detect the presence of an object exterior to a vehicle in which the security device may be mounted; wherein the first image capture device and second image capture device are arranged to begin capturing images and/or video responsive to the first object detection module detecting the presence of an object exterior to a vehicle in which the security device may be mounted.

Abstract: A mount for mounting an accessory, the mount comprising: an attachment member to attach the mount to a support structure; and a mount coupling member configured to have a profile complementary to a corresponding accessory coupling member of an accessory to be coupled to the mount. Included is a mount comprising a mount end for mounting on a mounting surface and a coupling end comprising a first coupling arrangement, and an accessory coupleable to mount. The accessory comprising a second coupling arrangement disposed on a surface. The first and second coupling arrangement comprising coupling elements configured to guide accessory into a coupling orientation relative to mount, to maintain coupling orientation through a coupling/decoupling operation and to couple accessory to mount in a coupled configuration. First set of coupling elements comprise formations disposed on one of first and second coupling arrangements and complementary formations disposed on the other of first and second coupling arrangements.
