Patent number: 10636258Abstract: A method of producing a secure chest adapted to hold cash dispensable from an automated banking machine, includes producing a wall panel. The wall panel includes a first wall liner that has a first planar portion and at least one first border wall that extends transverse to the first planar portion. The first planar portion and the at least one first border wall bound a pocket. With the first wall liner positioned in a first orientation, the method includes filling the pocket with flowable cement. Subsequent to filling the pocket with the cement, the method includes attaching the first wall liner and a second wall liner in fixed relation. Thereafter the wall panel is stored in the first orientation in which the cement at least partially hardens. Thereafter the wall panel is assembled in joined relation with at least one other wall panel to form the chest.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 2017Date of Patent: April 28, 2020Assignee: PORTER'S GROUP, LLCInventors: Scott Allan Mercer, Russell Shaun Tyler

Patent number: 8899685Abstract: A vehicle seat headrest assembly (20) includes a headrest (21) having a rear headrest portion (28) with a housing (29) mounted on vertical posts (26) for vertical movement and also includes a front headrest portion (30) having a housing (31) movable longitudinally in forward and rearward directions by a support linkage (46) under the control of a rack and pinion mechanism (62). A first helical spring locking clamp (44) permits upward adjusting movement of the headrest but normally prevents downward movement, and a second helical spring locking clamp (72) permits forward movement of the front headrest portion housing (29) while normally preventing rearward movement. An actuator (36) releases the first and second helical spring locking clamps (44 and 72) to permit downward movement of the headrest (21) and rearward adjustment of the front headrest portion (30) housing (31).Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 2013Date of Patent: December 2, 2014Assignee: Porter Group, LLCInventors: Robert L. Patent number: 7431371Abstract: A vehicle seat latch (24) includes a latch member (40) and a blocking member (70) that each have associated first and second blocking surfaces (80, 82 and 88, 90) for holding the latch member in a latched position with the blocking member in a blocking position. The first blocking surfaces (80 and 88) of the latch member and blocking member have a pressure angle between 4.6 and 6.6 degrees while the second blocking surfaces (82 and 90) have a zero degree pressure angle and are slightly spaced from each other. A deformable blocking portion (84) of the blocking member (70) defines its first blocking surface (88) and is deformed by excessive loading so that the zero degree pressure angle second blocking surfaces (82 and 90) then contact each other to hold the latch member in its latched position.Type: GrantFiled: March 22, 2006Date of Patent: October 7, 2008Assignee: Porter Group, LLCInventors: Michael P.
