Patents Assigned to Post Technologies, Inc.
  • Patent number: 9338244
Abstract: A server includes a data communication controller and an analyzer for monitoring social changes in a neighborhood and providing indicators to appropriate agencies. The data communication controller receives from a plurality of information sources, through a telecommunication network, a plurality of social behaviors for a particular neighborhood and a plurality of monitoring criteria. The analyzer assigns a weight for each social behavior according to the monitoring criteria, calculates a total score for the monitoring criteria, compares the total score against the monitoring criteria, and generates an indicator if the total score matches a criterion in the monitoring criteria. The data communication controller sends the indicator to a third party agency.

  • Patent number: 9154609
Abstract: An apparatus and method that enables a case officer to remotely monitor probationers. The remote supervision server receives GPS data/time-date data/text/audio/video reporting periodically from the parolees and probationers and the GPS data/time-date data/text/audio/video reporting is analyzed. The remote supervision server will send an alert to the case officer if a suspicious behavior is detected. If no suspicious behavior is detected, the remote supervision server will store the analysis result and send a notification to the case officer. The case officer can then check the audio/video reporting and the analysis result later. The remote supervision server also calculates the likelihood of recidivism for each post-release supervised client, parolee or probationer and advises the officer of such risk in order of greatest risk to lowest risk.

  • Patent number: 9001984
Abstract: An apparatus and method that enables monitoring of social behaviors and generating advance warnings for different monitoring agencies according to the monitoring criteria set by each monitoring agencies. The remote supervision server receives social behavior information from different sources and also different monitoring criteria from different requesting agencies. Each social behavior is assigned different weights according to the monitoring criteria. A total score is calculated based on the monitoring criteria and an advance warning is sent to a requesting agency if the total score exceeds a threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20140136314
Abstract: An apparatus and method that give users the opportunity to identify which ad content is interesting and report information about these interested users to advertisers. The apparatus delivers digital visual advertising on the user's mobile device as part of an App's function. When the advertising message window appears, the user can dismiss the advertising message by touching the ad with a finger and swiping it left or right, depending on whether the user finds the ad content interesting or not. If interested, the user swipes the ad message to the right, and if not interested, swiping to the left; both action dismisses the ad and the user can resume activity prior to the ad message. The apparatus records the user's interest when the ad is swiped to the right and communicates this interest to the advertiser for future retargeted ads of similar content to the user.

  • Publication number: 20130124248
Abstract: An apparatus and method that enable a case officer to manage visits to probationers according to their risk level priority. The apparatus receives probationer information from a remote supervision server and displays the information by their risk levels. The case officer can drag and drop the name of probationers on an appointment calendar which will calculate an appointment schedule according to the location of each visit, the travel time between the visits, the default first visit time, and default last visit time. After the appointment schedule is calculated, the map will display the optimized route. The case officer can manually change the order of the visits and the apparatus will automatically recalculate the appointment schedule and the route. The invention can further process all the data used to calculate risk of recidivism to predict criminal activity in a given area using location specific information and data collected for probationer management.
