Abstract: A method for data security with lock in a hard disk and a solid state disk is provided. The method makes a frequently used system record possible to be saved in the user zone. The main system program or the drive program can be saved in the ROM zone to avoid that the programs are subjected to an abnormal change or a not allowed change and revision so as not to damage the operation of the system. The core program of the system can be saved in the protect zone and the password has to be confirmed before the core program can be executed. Therefore, the present invention can give the disk system an effective function of protect with lock to protect the intellectual property for the system designer and to protect the data in secret and with safety for the user.
Abstract: A connecting device with a low height comprises a connector part, and a set of metal terminals. The connector part has a height compatible with the height of an inner space in a standard USB interface slot socket so as to be inserted into the standard USB interface slot socket. The set of metal terminals is arranged on the connector part and composed of a plurality of metal sheets and each metal sheet has an end disposed in the connector part and another end extending outward the connector part. The first end of the respective metal sheet in the set of metal terminals contacts with internal electronic signal of the standard USB interface slot socket and the second end of the respective metal sheet is soldered to a printed circuit board. Furthermore, the low height connecting device can be revised as an electronic connecting device capable of being inserted into the USB slot socket so that both of the connecting devices can be used in a dual interface memory storage apparatus or a memory storage apparatus.
Abstract: A flash memory card reader with a low thickness comprises a casing, a print circuit board, and a universal series bus terminal. The casing provides an internal space to receive related parts. The print circuit board is disposed in the internal space with related circuits thereon. The universal series bus terminal provides a wire to be joined to the print circuit board. At least an insertion slot with a slot base for a type I or type II compact flash memory card is arranged in the casing, another insertion slot with another slot base for a smart media card is arranged in the casing too, and a further insertion slot with a further slot base for a selected one of a multi media card and a secure digital card is arranged in the casing.
Abstract: A wireless memory card reader comprises a card insertion read/write device and a host unit read/write device. The card insertion read/write device further comprises a casing with a card slot and an inner card socket for being inserted with a memory card, a printed circuit board received in the casing with a required circuit thereon, a wireless transmission driver fixed to the printed circuit board for a signal being wave-mixed, demodulated and amplified, a battery seat with at least a battery arranged at a lateral side of the casing for supplying the power needed by the circuit, a card socket fixed to the printed circuit board and connecting with the circuit for being inserted with the memory card, and an antenna connected to the printed circuit board for sending and receiving radio signals.

Abstract: An enhanced compact micro memory card with write protection, comprises an enclosed casing, and a switch circuit of data write protection. The enclosed casing provides a micro controller and a plurality of memories therein, and has a connector for external connection. The switch circuit of data write protection provides a micro switch and the micro switch exposing outward the casing for switching an operation of write protection.
