  • Publication number: 20160035077
Abstract: A system for computer-based detection of damage on machine components, such as misalignments and mechanical damage on bearings and clutches, with which mathematical linkage of the temperatures of selected regions of thermography pictures are compared with reference pictures. The system can consult photographs from the visible spectral range in the computed-based assessment.

  • Publication number: 20160033322
Abstract: A method for measuring vibrations in which gravity forces and acceleration forces resulting from machine vibrations are measured using an accelerometer/inclinometer sensor coupled to a non-rotating part of a rotating machine, the orientation of the sensor with regard to the direction of action of the gravity forces is determined from a stationary component of sensor output, and non-stationary components of sensor output are evaluated based upon the determined sensor orientation. Both the result of the alignment process and also the result of the vibration measurement are communicated to the user as an easily understandable characteristic on a display of an evaluation unit.

  • Patent number: 9080862
Abstract: A device for measuring and optionally correcting the angular offset of two shafts which are connected to one another by way of two universal joints and a third shaft calls for the measurement heads of an optoelectronic alignment device to be adjustably arranged on the shafts by means of at least one pivot joint on one of the clamping devices, with an adjustment capacity. A pertinent method contains matching of the orientation of the measurement heads of the optoelectronic alignment device on the shafts in at least two measurement positions by adjusting the pivot joint.

  • Patent number: 8904658
Abstract: A method for measuring and optionally correcting the angular offset of two shafts which are connected to one another by way of two universal joints and a third shaft calls for the measurement heads of an optoelectronic alignment device to be mounted in the shafts in exactly two measurement positions. These measurement positions are offset by 180° to one another and are located in the plane of the three shafts.

  • Publication number: 20140046881
Abstract: Method for monitoring of a wind power plant operated in variable operating states. Start sensor data is obtained in at least one basic operating state of the machine; based on the start sensor data, a starting model with a rule set for conducting the monitoring is set up, the rule set determining which parameters are to be monitored, in which manner and with which weighting and which sensor data are to be obtained and used for this purpose; a reference SOM is prepared using the rule set with sensor data selected using the rule set and obtained in a reference operating phase of the machine; during a monitoring operating phase, time characteristics of a quantization error of the sensor data selected using the rule set being tracked with respect to the reference SOM, troubleshooting being started if the quantization error meets a criterion which is dictated by the rule set.
