Abstract: Air flow control systems for use in the combustion of solid fuel are provided. Such air flow control systems may be used in a combustion apparatus, such as a cook stove. The use of such air flow control systems in the combustion apparatus can efficiently combust solid fuels with low emission of particulate matter and harmful gases.
Abstract: An apparatus and method for the combustion of solid fuel are provided. The apparatus includes a combustion chamber with a floor, a side opening, an airflow disk located above the side opening, and secondary air inlets located above the airflow disk. The apparatus and method can efficiently combust solid fuels with low emission of particulate matter and harmful gases, continuous feeding of fuel during combustion, and the production of a spiral flame.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for burning biomass briquettes are provided. The method described herein can create a fire from burning solid biomass that reduces the amount of smoke and harmful gas emissions (e.g., carbon monoxide), increases output power, and improves the combustion of the briquettes used as a solid fuel in a cooking apparatus (e.g., a cooking stove).
