Abstract: A film dispensing apparatus for dispensing film from a film roll is disclosed that in certain embodiments has an exterior holding surface of a holding member that is concentric with the axis of rotation of a rotating member when looking at the apparatus along its radial direction. In other embodiments, the film dispensing apparatus includes a brake portion found in the interior of the holding member that is operatively associated with an interior holding surface such that when a user presses onto the interior holding surface with sufficient force, it causes the brake portion to flex and contact the rotating member, resulting in the film being dispensed with more tension as the user pulls on the apparatus to unwind the film.

Abstract: The various embodiments of the present invention comprise a single blank design for a recyclable food container, which includes a majority recyclable portion and a detachable product support pad portion. Once the blank is erected, the detachable product support pad forms the base of the food container and may bear the weight of food product, such as pizza. After use by a consumer, the soiled detachable product support pad may be detached and discarded, thus allowing the remainder of the food container to be recycled. The detachable product support pad also protects the other parts of the food container from grease or other food by-products, thus encouraging recyclability.

Abstract: A foldable container comprising a sheet of material having a plurality of panels hingedly connected together to permit folding thereof into a polygonal shape for storing liquid, solid or granular material. Male and female flaps are hingedly connected to the panels, and are foldable into an interlocked arrangement to form the container bottom. A lid can be provided having a lid panel and one or more lid flaps hingedly connected thereto. The lid flaps each have a lid opening and a handle portion, and the sheet has corresponding panel openings and handle portions. The lid flaps have locking tabs that can be extended through the aligned lid and panel openings to secure the lid in place.
