Abstract: The invention relates to an organic hydrogel bond for living tissue. The bond is comprised of living tissue pre-treated with hydrogen peroxide, body derived fluids, including at least one NCO-terminated hydrophilic urethane prepolymer, which is derived from an organic polyisocyanate, and oxyethylene-based diols, triols or polyols comprised essentially all of hydroxyl groups capped with polyisocyanate.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a hydrated, biocompatible tissue-augmentation compound and its methodology for implantation into mammalian tissue.
