Abstract: Instrument holder comprising a shank (1) equipped with a head (2) designed to receive an instrument and a locking component (4) pushed against the head by a spring (9) bearing on a ring (11) sliding on the shank, and having means of connection (8, 12) on the shank which is engaged by rotation of the ring, in such a way that the release of the ring allows the locking component, the spring and the ring to slide freely in order to permit cleaning of the instrument holder.
Abstract: Surgical reamer consisting of a cutting head integral with a drive rod for driving it in rotation. The cutting head has, to the rear, auxiliary cutting teeth whose cutting edges are oriented alternately rightward and leftward in such a way as to permit easy withdrawal of the reamer, by the cutting effect of said teeth, in both directions of rotation.
Abstract: A surgical reamer in the form of a cap (1) fitted with arms (4) extending from the circular edge of the reamer toward the axis of the reamer for its attachment to a reamer spindle. The reamer comprises a central disk (3) to which said arms (4) are attached. The disk is intended to display an item of information, in particular the diameter of the reamer. In this way, the diameter of the reamer or any other information may be read without handling the reamer and turning it upward.
Abstract: Milling cutter for medical purposes, in particular for use in orthopedic operations, which has a milling body made of thin-walled material. The milling cutter may take various forms and is provided on its surface with a number of milling teeth which are arranged systematically in terms of number and position. The arrangement and shape of the milling teeth are precisely defined. As a result, the milling cutter is an accurate tool which not only facilitates the work of the surgeon but also considerably enhances the quality of intervention which can be achieved.
Abstract: The reamer comprises a cap (1) and radial rods (2) which are arranged uniformly on the inside edge of the cap. These radial rods (2), which are at least three in number, join up at the center of the cap and are integral. The reamer spindle comprises a shank (3) on which there is fixed a reamer spindle head (5) which is equipped with a bayonet with locking means for the securing of the reamer. The securing catches (10) of the bayonet are intended to receive the radial rods (2) of the reamer. The center (14) of the bayonet is preferably recessed so that the latter can receive the radial rods (2) of the reamer and can serve as a cavity for retention of the bone substance which is removed.
Abstract: The quick-fastening device comprises only two parts separable during the fitting and removal of the bit, the first part being fixed to the tool and the second part being fixed to a motor-drive body. The axial locking and the rotational locking are ensured respectively by screwing and the engagement of two profiled ends of matching profiles.
