Abstract: A spa fixture assembly includes a resilient grommet and a fixture. The grommet has a lip, an inner surface, and an outer surface. The fixture may, by way of example, be a skim filter, a speaker system, a water jet assembly, a light fixture, and a suction fitting. The grommet and fixture are non-circular in cross-section. The grommet is inserted in a hole drilled in a tub wall until the lip of the grommet seats flush with the tub wall. The fixture is inserted into the grommet until the lip of the fixture abuts the lip of the grommet. With this design and method of installation no back grinding is required of the drilled hole and no other sealant, such as a gasket, caulking, or o-ring, is required for installation. The entire installation may be completed by one person.
