Patent number: 11155011Abstract: A method and assembly for injection molding a part. The injection molding assembly has a frame and a core back assembly on the frame with a material controlling region. The core back assembly has first and second states with the material controlling region: i) in a first position with the core back assembly in the first state; and ii) in a second position with the core back assembly in the second state. First and second mold units are configured to be placed in operative relationship on the frame wherein the first and second mold units cooperate to form a mold cavity on the frame. The frame, core back assembly, and first and second mold units are configured so that the state of the core back assembly is changed as an incident of the first and second mold units being placed in the operative relationship.Type: GrantFiled: February 1, 2019Date of Patent: October 26, 2021Assignee: Chunichi Precision Molding, Inc.Inventor: Kota Nakashima

Patent number: 5858414Abstract: A cooling device for plastic moldings and a cooling method therefor shortening the cooling time required for the moldings 6 to be cooled in the die 3, without doing rapid cooling in the die 3, and can also prevent deformation such as warp of the moldings 6. The cooling device for air-cooling plastic moldings which are formed by a plastic molding machine 1 having a take-out portion 10 for taking out the moldings 6 and are taken out from the take-out portion 10 comprises an air cooling means 18 which is located in the vicinity of said take-out portion 10 for blowing cooling air over said moldings 6 immediately after being taken out from said take-out portion 10. The cooling device can be used to blow cooling air over the moldings 6 immediately after the moldings are taken out from said take-out portion 10.Type: GrantFiled: December 10, 1996Date of Patent: January 12, 1999Assignees: Kawata Mfg. Patent number: 5775491Abstract: An enclosure system for protecting and securing an optical disk includes a tray adapted to house the disk, and a receptacle adapted to receive the tray and disk. The receptacle may be formed from a sheet of foldable material. The receptacle may include an extension for attaching the enclosure system to a retail delivery means, such as a magazine centerfold or a technical publication. The receptacle may also include retaining means for preventing the tray from moving with respect to the receptacle during the shipping and handling stages of product distribution. The retaining means may comprise an outer layer of thin sheet material wrapped around the receptacle or a glue spot securing inside surfaces of the foldable sheet together to secure the tray. The enclosure system may also include motion limiting means for limiting a distance by which the tray slides out of the receptacle and for preventing the tray from being completely removed from the receptacle when accessing the compact disk stored therein.Type: GrantFiled: May 15, 1996Date of Patent: July 7, 1998Assignee: Atlanta Precision Molding CompanyInventor: Yoshihiko Taniyama
