Patents Assigned to Precision Valve & Automation, Inc.
  • Patent number: 11938498
Abstract: A dispensing control system, including a frame component having a first side surface and a second side surface, a first sensor portion positioned proximate the first side surface, and a second sensor portion positioned proximate the second side surface, the second sensor portion being separated from the first sensor portion a distance to allow a liquid spray stream exiting a dispenser of a conformal coating machine to pass therebetween, wherein the first sensor portion transmits a beam of light towards the second sensor portion to measure the liquid spray stream exiting the dispenser, the beam of light encompassing both edges of the liquid spray stream while the dispenser is stationary, is provided. Furthermore, an associated method is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20140124537
Abstract: An dispensing assembly comprising a body portion, and a blow-off mechanism operably attached to the body portion, the blow-off mechanism including a cap member having one or more openings proximate a dispensing nozzle configured to dispense a dispensing fluid, wherein a fluid is forced through the one or more openings to blow-off a dispensed fluid residue located at a tip of the dispensing nozzle, wherein the fluid is forced through the one or more openings while the dispensing fluid is not continuously exiting an outlet of the dispensing nozzle is provided. An associated method is further provided.

  • Patent number: 6916378
Abstract: A rotary dispenser that provides for airlessly applying a fluidic coating material to a target surface. The rotary dispenser of the present invention includes an angled fluidic passage therein, a fluid control body and a motor driven shaft to which the rotary dispenser is operationally attached. The rotary dispenser, with its angled fluid passage, provides a flow conduit which produces a series of overlapping circular spray patterns. The resulting spray patterns can be controlled to provide a narrow line spray pattern with clearly defined edges. Another embodiment of the present invention provides a spray pattern for coating the interior surface of hollow objects. A method of using the rotary dispenser in various coating applications is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 6692572
Abstract: This invention relates generally to systems for depositing a material onto a surface, and more particularly, to control systems for metering the amount of material being dispensed. The present invention provides an active compensation metering system that automatically compensates for material changes due to changes in material pressure, material temperature, and material viscosity.

  • Patent number: 6523757
Abstract: A compact spray valve that provides an extended atomizing air cap for reaching between tightly spaced electronic components. The compact spray valve of the present invention includes an air body, a fluid control body and an extended atomizing air cap. The atomizing air cap along with a seat extension provides a plurality of laminar air flow conduits causing atomization of a fluid into a spray. The resulting spray pattern can be controlled to provide a narrow line spray pattern with clearly defined edges. Another embodiment of the present invention provides a flat spray pattern.

  • Patent number: 6447847
Abstract: A robotic conformal coating system has a end effector and multiple tiltable valves coupled to the end effector. The end effector is capable of X, Y and Z axis motion, as well as rotation about the Z axis. A programmable controller controls the movement of the end effector and valves, as well as the actual dispensing and/or spraying of conformal coating.

  • Patent number: 6196521
Abstract: A valve is provided including a body made of anaerobic, reactive fluid resistant material. The valve also directs pressurized fluid in a substantially planar manner between adjacent port holes on a recessed area of a fluid body section of the valve. The flexible diaphragm can be actuated manually or programmed to dispense pressurized fluid, such as cyanoacrylate fluid. A method of dispensing anaerobic, reactive material is also provided.
