Abstract: A wearable device for monitoring physiological and biomechanical parameters of a user includes a primary electronics body having a processor, a first temperature sensor, and a second temperature sensor. The first temperature sensor is in electrical communication with the processor and configured to measure a temperature of skin of the user. The second temperature sensor is in electrical communication with the processor and is configured to measure a temperature of ambient air outside the wearable device. The processor is configured to receive the measured temperatures from the first temperature sensor and the second temperature sensor, and to determine at least one metric indicative of the core temperature of the user without an invasive measurement of the body of the user.
