Abstract: A push button switch, particularly a master switch, has housing-affixed contacts (4, 5) and a contact bridge (8) for bridging the contacts, with the bridge being moved by a spring plunger (10). A spring-switching mechanism (24, 25, 26) is operatively coupled between the spring plunger and a manually-movable sliding switch, or switch actuator, (22). The sliding switch (22) is engaged by a guiding, or sliding, locking linkage (27, 28) to be alternately moved between "on" and "off" positions upon being pushed in.

Abstract: A simplified construction is suggested for an electrical construction assembly, or an assembled electrical component, having a circuit board, a liquid crystal display, a light conductor, and a sheet-metal screen. In this regard, a leg of the sheet-metal screen extends about one edge of the circuit board and effects, on the one hand, a secure contacting of the liquid crystal display and, on the other hand, in an uncomplicated manner, a releasable clamping together of the assembly.

Abstract: A motor vehicle ventilation apparatus for providing ventilation by a fan (3), located within an air channel (1) of the apparatus, whose operation can be multiply, or step, adjusted by "switching in" performance resistors (8). The performance resistors (8) and a step switch (7) required for adjusting operation of the fan (3) are arranged on members forming the air channel (1), or are in the air channel, within an effective ventilating range of the fan (3).

Abstract: A paste composition for preparation of electrically resistive layers is described comprising a curable polymer binder in which electrically conductive pigments are dispersed, wherein the composition contains as the electrically conductive pigments a glass-like carbon with a highly unoriented tri-dimensionally cross-linked coil structure.

Abstract: The invention relates to a sliding regulator, having a sliding slot which is closed without leaks against dust, etc., even in the immediate surrounding of the sliding member. According to the invention, this is achieved by a rubbery-elastic sealing lip associated with the sliding slot, which consists of a string of aligned lamellae attached to each other so as to form a flexible barrier against penetration of unwanted matter. The lamellae barrier deforms as the sliding member slides through it, so that the interface between the two remains substantially constantly sealed.

Abstract: A data input device for an electronic data processing device such as a personal computer includes an input keyboard, which has a key field, a casing and a plug-in receptacle for a keyboard plug on a circuit connector; and a connector, such as a junction cable, which has a keyboard plug which fits into the receptacle on the keyboard, a circuit connector which is a connection wire, a plug at the end of the connection wire connecting with the electronic data processing device, and programmable encoder electronics for encoding unique signals corresponding to each key in the key field on the keyboard. A portion of the encoder electronics, in which the program relating the keyboard to the electronic data processing device is encoded, is located within the keyboard plug and not within the keyboard itself.

Abstract: In a resistance paste for the production of electric resistors consisting of a polymer binding there are dispersed electrically conductive particles, solvents and additives; in order to produce resistance layers which are electrically stable and resistant to organic substances such as fuels and oils within a temperature range of from -55.degree. C. to +160.degree. C., more than half of the solids contained in the polymer binder consists of a mixture ofa) fully etherified melamine resin,b) polyester resin containing hydroxyl groups andc) an acidic catalyst.

In order to simplify the selection of one of several TV programs for the user, the remote control device has a receiver circuit (18 to 23). The latter detects picture signals of the TV programs to be selected via program selection keys (3). A storage unit stores these picture signals. To each of the program selection keys (3) on the remote control set a picture display (6) is assigned. A control circuit (24, 29, 30) distributes the picture signals from the storage (25) cyclically to the picture displays (6).

Contacting in the contacting arrangement takes place only after a deliberate force P' has been applied which causes a partial surface in the switch to arch in the direction of operation of the switch and to cause contacting in the contacting arrangement.

Abstract: A data input board for the electrical detection of the coordinates of a writing tip includes a rigid plate and an elastic plate with electrically conductive surfaces facing each other at a small distance which contact point by point under the effect of a writing tip. The elastic plate is formed as a stretched, coated sieve tissue in order to avoid the requirement of spacers within the input surface.
