Abstract: The invention relates to a microwave oven comprising a chamber for cooking food, the electromagnetic energy of which is provided by a set of two to four magnetrons (5, 6, 7) mounted on a wall of the chamber, the magnetrons communicating with wave-guides (65) which emerge in a common microwave mixing box (8). The box (8) comprises a face common with the oven made of a material permeable to waves and a rotary phase modulator comprising a disc provided with vanes driven by electric motor and mounted on the rear face parallel with the said transparent face. The invention is characterised by the fact that the disc provided with vanes and the drive motor together form a unit, the said unit being detachably mounted on the rear face of the microwave mixing box.

Abstract: A method of tracking food product status using a food product scale, the scale including a weighing station including an associated mechanism for producing weight indicative signals, and an operator interface screen including a display, is provided. The method includes entering product identification information of a food product into a food product scale using an operator interface of the food product scale. The food product scale identifies the food product based on the product information. A shelf life label is printed that includes shelf life information associated with the food product. A shelf life record is created that is saved in memory. The shelf life record includes the product identification information and an expiration date of the food product.

Abstract: The appliance includes heating means comprising at least one electrical resistor (1-8) having a given rated power and connected to the output of a static contactor (101-103, 201-203) connected to control means and designed to be connected at the input to a phase conductor (91-93) of an electrical network (9) for supply of the resistor with alternating current and at a certain voltage. The control means are arranged to control the static contactor (101-103, 201-203) and break the supply current of the resistor so as to keep the apparent power of the resistor (1-8) substantially equal to its rated power. The invention applies to ovens.

Abstract: A method of receiving product pricing errors within a store including multiple food product scales is provided. The method includes (a) providing a store scale communications network. At step (b), a primary food product scale is provided in the store including memory for storing product pricing data. At step (c), a secondary food product scale is provided in the store including memory for storing product pricing data. At step (d), food product pricing data is communicated to the primary food product scale via the communications network and the food product pricing data is stored in memory of the primary food product scale. At step (e), the secondary food product scale identifies a potential internal product pricing data error condition and responsively requests accurate product pricing data from the primary food product scale. At step (f), after step (e), at least some of the product pricing data is sent from the primary food product scale to the secondary food product scale.

Abstract: The invention relates to a microwave oven including a food-cooking enclosure, the electromagnetic energy of which is supplied by a set of two to four magnetrons (5, 6, 7) mounted on an enclosure wall, the magnetrons communicating with waveguides (55, 65, 75) which are in communication with the oven enclosure. The magnetrons are individually air-cooled and the air is then discharged to the outside via a discharge conduit. The invention is characterised in that the discharge conduits open out into a common calming chamber before discharge to the outside.
Abstract: The oven is an oven with at least dual heating by microwaves, on the one hand, and by convection or by steam, on the other, comprising a cooking cavity (2) and a door (1) for closing the cavity including a first internal sealing glazing (4) and a second internal intermediate glazing (6) which sandwich a metal screen (5) tight against microwave radiation to hold it and protect it and a third external glazing (7) for general protection. Sources (26) for lighting the cavity are mounted on the door, substantially in the plane of the second intermediate glazing (6) holding the metal screen (5).
Abstract: Described herein is a dish-washing machine, in which there is provided: at least one supporting structure; a washing station, defined by one or more washing arms; a rinsing station, defined by one or more rinsing arms and by at least two attachment assemblies for attachment of the rinsing arms, which are positioned on opposite sides of the washing arms; and reversible movement means for displacing a dish rack from the washing station to the rinsing station.
Abstract: The microwave oven of the invention comprises a food-cooking cavity, microwave-generating means, at least one microwave adapter plate (34), at least one plate support (17) mounted removably on a cavity wall, characterised in that the adapter plate (34) is fixed to the plate support (17). Thus there is a simple and inexpensive system allowing easy cleaning of the cavity walls and of the adapter plate or plates, while not impairing proper positioning and operation of the latter.
Abstract: The invention relates to a microwave oven comprising a cooking cavity (3) for foods, closed by a pivoting door (10) coming into contact with the framing (21) of the cavity. The door includes a wave trap (160) formed of a metal frame the sides of which are hollow and of rectangular section with a side in the form of a strip (163) arranged, in the closed position of the door, parallel with the lateral wall (20) of the cavity and with a free edge parallel with the edge of the door and at a distance from a frame (147) of this. The invention is characterised by the fact that a mask (180) made of flexible material covers the said strip (163) so as to mask the said sides of the frame (160).
Abstract: This is an oven with at least dual heating by microwaves (10), on the one hand, and by indirect steam (12), on the other, comprising a cooking cavity (1) and an external steam generator, connected to the cavity (1) by a steam supply pipe emerging in the cavity (1) through an opening (3). An obstacle to microwave radiation (136) is arranged in the said opening (3).
