Abstract: The present system is directed in various embodiments to marine ladders comprising movement assistance for the transition from a deployed position to a stowed position and to assist in controlling the transition from the stowed position to the deployed position. In certain embodiments, the gas springs and associated pivot point brackets hold the deployed ladder biased in the deployed position with a biasing force that may be overcome by application of force by the user to initiate an automatic stowing process. The initial force to initiate the stowing process is provided by the force of water flowing against an aft-mounted ladder as a result of the boat moving forward. In the case of movement assistance from the stowed to deployed position, the user applies force to initiate the transition while the gas springs apply an opposing force that slows the transition for safety.
Abstract: A storage caddy system for mounting underneath a seat has a mounting bracket for attachment between a bottom of the seat and at least one leg, and a storage caddy removably attached to the mounting bracket. The storage caddy has at least one storage compartment for storing an item, which is accessible by at least one access point in an outer wall of the storage caddy. The storage caddy is configured to allow movement of the seat relative to the leg. The storage caddy is slidable relative to the mounting bracket in a direction perpendicular to the leg from a partially stowed position to a fully stowed position.

Abstract: A headrest associated with a seating position on a vehicle may be provided and the seating position may have a seat portion and a back portion. The headrest may include a rest portion configured for laterally and/or vertically supporting the head of a user seated in the seating position. The headrest may also include a support portion including a riser with a translucent material and the support portion may be configured for spaced apart and lateral support of the rest portion relative to the back portion of the seating position. The support portion may include a light source arranged to illuminate the support portion by directing light through the translucent material.
