Abstract: An enclosure covers a UV lamp and has a mechanically-adjustable opening for changing an amount of the UV radiation being emitted from the enclosure, and an ozone-creating passageway receives the radiation being emitted from the enclosure. A method includes producing ozone-generating radiation, mechanically attenuating the ozone-generating radiation, and mixing the attenuated ozone-generating radiation with air to produce ozone. The method may include powering a lamp for emitting ozone-producing radiation, and adjusting an amount of ozone produced by the ozone-producing radiation by rotating a first opening with respect to a second opening.
