  • Patent number: 8850737
Abstract: Firearm bolt tail cleaning device has a device body and a plurality of cleaning arms arranged radially about a centerline and defining a cleaning slot configured to accept a bolt tail. The cleaning device slidably and rotatably interfaces with the bolt tail at inner wall portions of the plurality of cleaning arms, to remove debris from and to polish the bolt tail surface. The device is constructed of a polymer and 15 to 40 percent by weight of an abrasive material, such as glass fiber. Via interaction with the bolt tail, at least a portion of the plurality of cleaning arms become worn with use and expose more abrasive material which facilitates removing debris from and polishing the bolt tail surface. End portions of the body are open and each have a concavity.

  • Patent number: 8806796
Abstract: Cam lever mounts, devices, systems and methods with pivotable/foldable levers for attaching grips, sights, flashlights to picatinny rails on firearms. A moveable mount having one side with an upper and lower shroud covers has a space therebetween. A lever pivotally attached in the space moves from open to closed positions with substantial portions of the lever protected by the upper and lower shroud covers. The lever pivoting end can be attached to one end of an elongated member with other end attached to a stationary mount so that rotating the lever from open to closed draws the moveable mount toward the stationary mount. Inner sides of the moveable and stationary mounts can have clamp edges facing one another which can attach and detach to the picatinny rails.

  • Patent number: 8793916
Abstract: A firearm sling assembly includes an anchor adapted for connection to a firearm, a strap forming a single loop and adapted for wearing around a user's neck, and a quick-release mechanism releasably attaching the anchor to the strap. The quick-release mechanism includes a first element having a key groove defined therein, a second element having a key channel defined therein, the key channel extending between a first opening adjacent the key groove and a second opening away from the key groove, a key slidably disposed in the key channel and retractably engaging the key groove through the first opening, a biasing element acting between the key and second element to bias the key into engagement with the key groove, and a release element disposed on the second element and displaceable relative thereto to disengage the key from the key groove.

  • Patent number: 8533987
Abstract: A magazine well grip includes a generally U-shaped body having an outer surface, with a plurality of finger grooves defined therein, and an inner surface. An upper section of the inner surface is contoured to closely accommodate a magazine well of a firearm, the upper section terminating at a lip recess dimensioned to accommodate a lower lip of the magazine well in an interference fit arrangement. A lower section of the inner surface flares outwardly from below the lip recess. The generally U-shaped body includes a pair of spaced-apart, generally opposed sidewalls and a front wall. A generally wedge-shaped protrusion extends upwardly from the front wall of the body and is dimensioned for an interference fit between trunnions on a forward edge of the magazine well and behind a hinge portion of an upper receiver when arranged between the trunnions.

  • Patent number: 7971762
Abstract: A belt clamp with a pivotal article carrier attached thereto includes a base and a cover hinged together at the top. The cover includes a passageway at the lower end to accept a barb-like fastener integral with lower end of base to lock clamp closed. A tongue projects inwardly from the cover to contact and inhibit movement of a duty belt inside the clamp. The base includes a pair of intersecting arcuate slots and a reversible insert having one arcuate slot to make the clamp usable by either right- or left-handed users. A movable belt width adjustment bar is mounted inside the clamp to accommodate belts of various widths. Bosses around the lower opening of the cover inhibit twisting of locked clamp to prevent inadvertent opening. A locking plate is provided to inhibit rotation of fasteners used in pivotal mounting of an article carrier to the belt clamp.

  • Patent number: 7497043
Abstract: A magazine doubler includes a resilient body with two cavities each having upstanding ribs to carry magazines therein at different heights. A bracket and spaced screws are mounted medially between the front and back of the body to squeeze the body to generally conform it to carried magazines therein. A blocking element is used to replace the top round in one magazine to prevent the upper round from being dislodged during use of the doubler. Such element is tethered and biased by a rubber band looping around one of the screw shanks.
