Patent number: 7459493Abstract: A composite board is made from waste medium density fiber (MDF) board or waste particle board that includes solid urea formaldehyde. The waste board is chopped and milled into particles having a size between 20 mesh and 150 mesh, creating a waste flour. After removing moisture from the waste flour, the dried waste flour is mixed with a thermoplastic to bind and encapsulate the waste flour. Internal lubricants are added to improve the flow characteristics of the blended material, and external lubricants are added to present sticking of the mixture to an extruder or mold. Mineral fillers are added to improve the flexural modules of the composite board, and a plasticizer can be added to improve the physical properties or mechanical characteristics of the mixture. An ultraviolet absorber, a biocide, and a pigment can also be added. The blended material is extruded or molded into a desired shape. When cooled, the thermoplastic hardens to form a solid composite board.Type: GrantFiled: January 17, 2006Date of Patent: December 2, 2008Assignee: Mill's Pride, Inc.Inventor: Larry Singer

Patent number: 6971209Abstract: A stabilization system, including a drive head, stabilization cap and anchor is provided for boring an anchor into the ground and engaging the stabilization cap with the surface of the ground. The drive head engages the head of the anchor and the stabilization cap. Accordingly, rotation of the drive head results in rotation of the anchor and stabilization cap. It is by rotation that the anchor bores into the ground, the shaft of the anchor is placed at the center of the stabilization cap, and the stabilization cap engages the surface of the ground. After setting the anchor, the stabilization cap opposes lateral movement of the upper end of the anchor.Type: GrantFiled: April 28, 2003Date of Patent: December 6, 2005Assignee: Home Pride, Inc.Inventor: William Bradford Blevins

Patent number: 6019148Abstract: A door machine is provided for the production of a raised-panel door product of the type having a central panel framed in a sash of left and right stiles and upper and lower rails. In this type of raised panel door, the stiles and rails are joined by four butt joints to form the sash which features four inner edges that join the four edges of the central panel in edge joints. Preferably, the rails extend between and space apart the stiles and as such, these rails have opposite "butt" edges. The door machine includes a stand and a table on the stand formed with openings. The table and stand support a power and drive assembly which includes at least driven three spindles. Each spindle has a head for mounting a knife, and this head protrudes through an opening in the table as slightly above a plane of the table.Type: GrantFiled: August 3, 1998Date of Patent: February 1, 2000Assignee: Country Pride, Inc.Inventor: Michael R. Patent number: 5238301Abstract: A structure for a vertical unitized compartmentalized sorting/holding container compatible with plastic bags for use where sundry recyclable materials are generated and discarded. There is provided a retaining apparatus in which the action of discarding, at the same time, sorts and holds various materials for recycling purposes in several sloping rhomboid compartments, one over the other, providing fifty per cent greater holding volume than level rectangular compartments of the same floor space. Further, dull hooks advantageously located hold plastic bags open for filling from the front instead of the top. Pull-down doors, render easy loading, and serve to isolate odors and obscure trash from view. Flat newspaper storage is provided in the bottom. The construction of the container provides for free-standing use in interior or exterior environments and flush in-wall installation.Type: GrantFiled: August 7, 1991Date of Patent: August 24, 1993Assignee: Mill's Pride, Inc.Inventor: Richard E. Patent number: 5158328Abstract: A universal duct elbow as for the vent system of a clothes dryer, formed of a body and a pair of swivel sleeves rotational on the body. The body has an outer 180.degree. portion of a configuration like that of a quarter toroid, and an inner 180.degree. portion like a square type elbow. The center line radius is less than about 0.6 of the duct diameter, enabling a duct assembly using the elbow to fit into a space only slightly larger than the duct diameter. The body is formed of an L-shaped plate having flow openings in the two legs of the L, plus two joined mirror image, arcuate elements. At these sleeves are radially extending flanges of the legs of the L to enable attachment to a wall.Type: GrantFiled: December 4, 1990Date of Patent: October 27, 1992Assignee: Builders Pride Inc.Inventors: Charles B. Anderson, Charles R. Kenrick

Patent number: 5145217Abstract: A dryer duct assembly employs two universal elbow components and at least one flexible component. The flexible component has ends capable of connecting to another flexible component or to a universal component without the use of other devices such as hose clamps to secure connection. Each elbow has ends capable of attaching either to the wall opening or the dryer, in addition to attaching to the flexible component in the same manner as the flexible components may attach to each other. The elbow has an outer portion resembling the outer portion of a quarter-toroid, and a square type inner portion. The outer portion is made of a pair of mirror image hemi portions connected at adjacent flanges. The inner portion has an L-shaped plate with flow-through orifices in each leg of the L.Type: GrantFiled: December 4, 1990Date of Patent: September 8, 1992Assignee: Builder's Pride, Inc.Inventors: Charles B. Anderson, Charles R. Kenrick

Patent number: 5121948Abstract: Disclosed is a metal dryer exhaust duct assembly using a pair of flexible corrugated metal ducts capable of linear extension and capable of reorientation of the duct ends, a pair of elbow connectors, one for attachment to a dryer exhaust outlet and the other for attachment to a wall inlet. Each duct has a swivel connection to its respective elbow connector, using a sleeve which interfits with the elbow connector by a peripheral projection and recess arrangement. Each duct can also be interfit with another such duct. The two ducts can be attached respectively to an dryer and a wall spaced from each other, and are vertically self supporting, whereby when the dryer is moved adjacent the wall, a person can readily telescopically interconnect the ends of the ducts over the top of the dryer. One or more pieces of the duct may be used to span the distance between the dryer and the wall outlet.Type: GrantFiled: December 4, 1990Date of Patent: June 16, 1992Assignee: Builder's Pride, Inc.Inventors: Charles B.
