    Abstract: A sliding mechanism includes a first plate, a second plate, a fixing structure and a sliding member. The second plate includes a sliding slot and a guiding part. The fixing structure has a perforation. The sliding member includes a sliding piece and an elastic element. The fixing structure is penetrated through the sliding slot of said second plate. A first end of the sliding piece is sustained against the guiding part. A second end of the sliding piece is penetrated through the perforation. When the second plate is slid with respect to the first plate for a first predetermined distance, the elastic element generates elastic potential energy. Whereas, when the second plate is slid with respect to the first plate for a second predetermined distance, the elastic element releases the elastic potential energy to have the second plate automatically slide with respect to the first plate.

The steps executed by said system comprises: dividing a page into a plurality of bands including a Mth band and a (M+1)th band; converting a color format of the Mth band; transferring the Mth band to a printer for storing, and converting the color format of the (M+1)th band in the period of transferring the Mth band; and printing the Mth band, wherein the printing does not start until the printer receives 50%-100% bands. During the printing, the color format of the residual bands continues to convert and the converted residual bands continue to transfer to the printer until the page is finished printing.

    Abstract: A high resolution image producing method includes the following steps. Firstly, an object is continuously shot to produce plural shot images. Then, plural original images are selected from the plural shot images. Then, each of the original images is segmented into plural blocks, and the motion vector of each block of each original image is calculated. Then, a first original image is scaled-up to acquire a first basis image, and a second basis image is acquired by copying the first basis image. A phase error is calculated according to the first basis image, and an interpolating operation is performed on the second basis image to obtain a high resolution image.

    Abstract: An automatic document feeder includes a sheet input tray, a transfer channel, a sheet pick-up module, a retard roller, a thickness detecting module and a controlling unit. The thickness detecting module is used for detecting a thickness of the documents. The controlling unit is used for judging whether a multiple-feeding event occurs. In a case that the multiple-feeding event occurs, the sheet pick-up module is reversely rotated such that the documents are returned to the sheet input tray. When the sheet pick-up module is reversely rotated, the retard roller provides a lower frictional force, so that the documents are allowed to be returned to the sheet input tray.

    Abstract: A clamshell device includes a cover, a flexible supporting plate, and a base. The cover includes a notch, a friction edge, and a lateral slant surface located at an inner wall of the notch. The supporting plate includes a curvy rim, an elongated groove, and a lateral post. The supporting plate is installed on a base and aligned with the notch. When the cover is rotated at a supporting angle, the friction edge is pressed against the curvy rim of the supporting plate. Consequently, the curvy rim is deformed toward the elongated groove to result in interference, and the supporting plate provides a friction force to allow the cover to be fixed at the supporting angle. At the same time, the interference between the lateral post of the supporting plate and the lateral slant surface can facilitate the cover to be fixed at the supporting angle.

    Abstract: A paper tray includes a first plate and an extension mechanism. The first plate includes a receiving space and a guiding groove. The extension mechanism includes a second plate, a paper stopper, and an elastic element. When the extension mechanism is moved to a first position in a direction opposite to the first plate and the paper stopper is rotated relative to the second plate in a first direction, the elastic element is pushed by an end of the paper stopper. Consequently, the elastic element generates an elastic potential energy. When the paper stopper is rotated relative to the second plate in a second direction, the elastic potential energy drives movement of the elastic element in a direction facing the first plate, so that the second plate is moved to a second position and the extension mechanism is automatically restored to the receiving space.

Once the front edge of the paper is contacted with the deskew roller assembly, the deskew roller assembly is continuously rotated in a second direction for a second direction for correcting the skew phenomenon of the paper. Afterwards, the second gear and the deskew roller assembly are driven by the first gear to be rotated in the first direction to transport the paper.
