Abstract: A computer executes a presentation file to display a presentation frame. An input device generates an input signal in response to a user's operation to have the computer execute a presentation control instruction. There is a signal processing protocol between a remote driver of the computer and a server driver of another computer, wherein the two computers are communicable with each other via a network, for standardizing a packing process and an unpacking process of the input signal. The server driver executes the packing process of the input signal according to the signal processing protocol and transmits the processed input signal out to the another computer. The remote driver executes the unpacking process of the input signal to have the another computer execute the presentation control instruction on the presentation frame. In this manner, the another computer may display the same presentation frame as that displayed by the computer.

Abstract: A group printing method and a group printing system are provided. The group printing system includes a control point, an intermediary printing device, and plural digital media printers. The group printing method includes following steps. The control point and the intermediary printing device issue device search broadcasts. The intermediary printing device and each of the digital media printers issue response broadcast to the control point and the intermediary printing device. At least two of the plural digital media printers are set as a printer group. The intermediary printing device splits the print command into plural split print commands and transmits the plural split print commands to the digital media printers of the printer group. Since the print command is split into the plural split print commands and the plural split print commands are executed by respective digital media printers, the printing speed is enhanced.

Abstract: A photo file displaying method includes the following steps. Firstly, a face detection operation is performed on a photo file of a first electronic device. According to a result of the face detection operation, a first photo property or a second photo property is written into a data field of a metadata of the photo file. Then, a first virtual folder and a second virtual folder are displayed on a second electronic device. If the first virtual folder is selected, the photo file corresponding to the first virtual folder is displayed on the second electronic device. If the photo file has the first photo property, the photo file is assigned to the first virtual folder. If the photo file has the second photo property, the photo file is assigned to the second virtual folder.

Abstract: A photo file displaying method includes the following steps. Firstly, a judging step is performed to judge whether a coordinate data of a photo file in a first electronic device is acquired. According to a result of acquiring the coordinate data, a location information or a no available location information is written into a data field of a metadata of the photo file. Then, a first virtual folder and a second virtual folder are displayed on a second electronic device. If the first virtual folder is selected, the photo file corresponding to the first virtual folder is displayed on the second electronic device. If the photo file has the location information, the photo file is assigned to the first virtual folder. If the photo file has the no available location information, the photo file is assigned to the second virtual folder.

Abstract: A touch input device with a button function is provided. The touch input device includes a base member, a touch module, a triggering switch, a linking module, and plural movable pads. The plural movable pads are disposed on the linking module. The linking module is fixed on the base member through a fixing part. Moreover, the linking module is located near the triggering switch, which is disposed on the base member. When the touch module is depressed, the linking module is pushed by the plural movable pads. Consequently, the linking module is swung by using the fixing part as a fulcrum, and the triggering switch is pushed by the linking module. Since the lever arm of the linking module is longer than the lever arm of the prior technology, the touch module is depressed by a smaller force.

Abstract: A mouse device includes an upper cover, an intermediate cover, a lower cover, a circuit board, and two switches. Two protrusion posts of the upper cover are respectively penetrated through two perforations of the intermediate cover. Two first pivotal parts of the upper cover are respectively connected with two second pivotal parts of the intermediate cover. The upper cover is fixedly connected to an annular sidewall of the lower cover. The circuit board and the two switches are disposed on the lower cover. When the upper cover is rotated relative to the intermediate cover through the two first pivotal parts and two second pivotal parts, one of the two switches is triggered by the corresponding protrusion post so as to generate a corresponding electronic signal. The use of the present mouse device can prevent from introducing foreign matters, reduce the depressing force and avoid erroneously triggering the switch.

A lower part of the scissors-type connecting member is accommodated within the position-limiting recess. An upper part of the scissors-type connecting member is engaged with the keycap. After the elastic element is fixed on the intermediate plate, the elastic element is penetrated through the scissors-type connecting member and contacted with the keycap. The intermediate plate, the keycap, the scissors-type connecting member and the elastic element are combined as a single key. After plural keys are fixed on a base plate, the keyboard is assembled. Consequently, the efficiency of assembling the keyboard is enhanced.

By the light guide plate, a light beam emitted by the light-emitting element is guided to the plural keys. The light guide plate includes plural elongated slots and a light-absorbing part. The plural elongated slots are located near a lateral edge of the light guide plate. After the light beam transferred within the light guide plate is transmitted through the elongated slots and departed from the light guide plate, the fraction of the light beam introduced into the lateral edge of the light guide plate is reduced. The light-absorbing part is located at the lateral edge of the light guide plate for absorbing the portion of the light beam which is introduced into the lateral edge of the light guide plate. Consequently, the lateral light leakage of the light guide plate can be avoided.

First of all, plural playing devices are assigned to a specified group, and a virtual device corresponding to the specified group is created. When the user wants to simultaneously use the plural playing device to play the media file, the user may simply control the virtual device to play the media file. Consequently, the media file is played by the plural playing devices corresponding to the specified group. Since the media playing method of the present invention is capable of controlling plural playing devices to play the media file by using only a single manual setting procedure, the process of controlling playback of the playing devices is simplified.

An input tray is disposed on the casing for placing plural papers thereon. A pressing member and a thickness detecting device are installed on the upper cover. When the pressing member is contacted with the plural papers on the input tray and pushed by the plural papers, the pressing member is moved. The thickness detecting device is located near the pressing member. Moreover, in response to the movement of the pressing member, the thickness detecting device may be triggered. If an overall thickness of the plural papers exceeds an allowable thickness, the pressing member is pushed by the plural papers. Consequently, the thickness detecting device is triggered by the pressing member to generate a warning signal.

Abstract: A method for generating a TV input command using a remote controller having an imaging sensor is presented. The method identifies the corners of a TV display screen from a graphical image captured by an imaging sensor of the remote controller. The method can then perform edge detection and segmentation of the graphical image using reference TV dimensions of the TV display screen to identify the pixel coordinates of the four corners of the TV display screen in the graphical image. The method can then map a camera center position in the pixel coordinates to virtual TV coordinates using a cross ratio algorithm, and then map a location of a cursor in the virtual TV coordinates to the coordinates of the TV display screen.
