    Abstract: Disclosed is an ultrafiltration device for domestic water supply which removes microorganisms and organic contamination. The device includes a bundle of capillary ultrafiltration membranes fitted in a filter housing, whereby the capillary membranes are open at a first end and closed at another end and are at the first end held in a membrane holder, which closes off the space in between the capillary membranes and the filter housing.
