Abstract: The present invention relates to novel methods for the quantitative detection of molecules in an array. In particular, the present invention relates to methods and apparatuses for producing a frameless array. In another embodiment, the present invention relates to a composition comprising nitrocellulose that is useful of producing a frameless array. In another embodiment, the present invention relates to a method for detecting a molecular interaction. In yet another embodiment, the present invention relates to kits useful for practicing the methods and apparatuses of the present invention. The present invention provides improved methods and apparatuses for the high throughput analysis of molecular interactions and quantitative detection.
