Abstract: A portable outdoor stove comprises a gas control valve, the gas control valve being dockable by a fuel supply means; a burner unit provided on the gas control valve; a plurality of supports attached to the portable outdoor stove, the supports being foldable at least between a first position and a second position; wherein in the first position, the supports are adapted to provide a hold for a receptacle such as a pot to be heated by the burner unit; wherein in the second position, the supports are adapted to form a cover around the burner unit such that the burner unit does not project outside the cover.

Abstract: A piezo ignition device (1) includes a piezo electric crystal (16), which is intended to generate a spark on an electrode (3) in said device when subjected to force. The ignition device (1) is mounted parallel with a mixer pipe (5) for delivering fuel to an open-air cooking apparatus, and the piezo electric crystal (16) is arranged so that the force applied to the crystal is directed parallel with the mixer pipe (5), wherein the force acting on the ingition device (1) for the ignition of said device is arranged to be applied parallel with said ignition device (1) in a direction from the electrode (3).

Abstract: An open air stove comprises a fuel supply line which can be connected to a fuel source, a fuel nozzle which is connected to one end of said supply line and which extends into a cylindrical inner part of an inner cup. The inner cup is mounted concentrically in a partially cylindrical outer cup, so that the cylindrical part of the inner cup extends at least partially into the cylindrical part of the outer cup. The relationship between the nozzle hole diameter &phgr;m, the inner diameter &phgr; of the cylindrical part of the inner cup, and the inner diameter &phgr;y of the cylindrical part of the outer cup is such that when &phgr;m lies in the range of 0.28-0.37 mm &phgr;i will have the value 24 +/−5 mm and &phgr;y will have the value 60 +5/−10 mm.

Abstract: A gas burner includes an ignition mechanism and a gas conduit for conducting gas from a gas supply, through a gas inlet, to a burner nozzle. The gas conduit includes an ignition gas conduit and a separate main gas conduit, the ignition and main gas conduit being generally parallel to each other with the main gas conduit being disposed within the ignition gas conduit. The gas inlet, at one end of the gas conduit, is in communication with the ignition gas conduit, through an ignition nozzle. The ignition mechanism is mounted in the ignition gas conduit, downstream of the ignition nozzle. The main gas conduit is in communication with the ignition gas conduit through the burner nozzle. The burner nozzle is located downstream of the ignition mechanism.
