    Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, a printer is embedded in any one, or more, signature feeder, for directly printing on a signature form coming out of that feeder. The printer is not on the collating conveyor, nor between signature feeders as in prior systems.This provides for precisely controlled printing, on the form, a label or on the spine.This provides a signature collating system having selectively controllable printing on the signature form coming out of the signature feeder.
