Abstract: A mobile terminal simulator for a wireless telecommunications network includes: a simulation engine, providing a bit stream, according to a communications standard; a conversion stage, which converts the bit stream into a baseband signal in the frequency domain; a mapping and transformation stage, which generates transmission samples in the time domain as a function of the baseband signal; and a transmission module, connectable to a Base Radio Station of a wireless telecommunications network by a communication port. A transmission channel simulator module is connected between the conversion stage and the mapping and transformation stage and processes the baseband signal in the frequency domain so as to simulate a transmission channel between the communication port and the Base Radio Station.
