  • Patent number: 11126449
Abstract: Method, computer program stored on a computer-accessible medium and signal probing device can be provided for recording signal values of a first signal generated by an emulated digital circuit which can be emulated by a hardware emulation device. For example, the first signal can be read out, where the first signal comprises a plurality of data units. Furthermore, at least two signal values of the first signal can be stored. Each signal value of the first signal can only be stored, if a predetermined recording condition is fulfilled, such that a non-continuous set of signal values is stored in a data buffer. Moreover, at least one of the stored signal values can be marked with a flag, if the signal value is a boundary of a data unit of the first signal.

  • Patent number: 9081743
Abstract: A communication system includes a first interface module which can be coupled to a first logic unit and a second interface module which can be coupled to a second logic unit. The first and second interface modules are interconnected by a virtual channel over a routing network. The first interface module is configured to receive messages from the first interface module and to send the received messages over the virtual channel to the second interface module. The second interface module is configured to transmit the received messages to the second logic unit. The second interface module is further configured to receive a processing complete signal from the second logic unit when the received messages have been processed in the second logic unit and is further configured to send an acknowledgement signal to the first interface module after reception of the processing complete signal. Further a communication method is provided.

  • Publication number: 20140253192
Abstract: A clock signal from a first electronic subsystem is distributed to a second electronic subsystem. The second electronic subsystem is remote from the first electronic subsystem and coupled to the first electronic subsystem by a bidirectional signal path. A first clock signal is generated on the first electronic subsystem and a training signal is generated on the first electronic subsystem clocked by the first clock signal. The training signal is sent on the bidirectional signal path on a round trip to the second electronic subsystem and back to the first electronic subsystem. A phase of the training signal is adjusted symmetrically on the way to the second electronic subsystem in a first phase adjuster and on the way back to the first electronic subsystem in a second phase adjuster until the measured time for the round trip is equal to an even number of clock cycles.

  • Patent number: 7441059
Abstract: A device for data communication between a first host device or a further host device and at least one client device along a shared transmission path includes a first host device, which includes a host application; at least one further host device, which includes a host application; at least one client device, which includes a client application; a bus control module; the host devices and the client device(s) and the bus control module being connected to one another by the transmission path for exchanging data and/or signals and the bus control module being implemented to control the access of the host devices to the transmission path. A method of data communication running on this device provides the transmission path to the host device in the event the host device wishes access to the transmission path.
