    Abstract: Methods and compositions based upon natural flavonoid and aromatic aldehydes are provided, which find use as pesticides. The compositions are effective against pathogenic fungi and insects at concentrations which are not phytotoxic to the treated host plant. Infestations of a variety of plant parts can be treated, including those of leaves and roots. Susceptible organisms include rust, powdery mildew and aphids.
