    Abstract: A rolling method of a non-circular filter core has the following steps. Adhere together a wavy filtering sheet and a flat filtering sheet. Coat an edge-sealing adhesive layer. Roll the filtering sheets. By having the edge-sealing adhesive layer with sufficient volume and width coated on a site where the filtering sheets are folded for a first time before folding, the leading edges of the filtering sheets are buried in the edge-sealing adhesive layer simultaneously after folded. As a result, the leading edges are adhered and sealed reliably to prevent fluid bypassing. The method is simple and fast, which improves efficiency and is suitable for full automation. The method further improves efficiency after fully automated by reducing an amount of production equipment that needs to be paused for manual operation and by reducing the waiting time for the manual operation.

    Abstract: A side-covered axial flow filter has a housing, a filter core, a filter frame, and a side cover. When assembling, the filter frame and the filter core are both obliquely installed into the housing. Limiting ribs of the filter frame are obliquely mounted between first pushing panels and a clamping surface of the housing, and inner pushing parts of the limiting ribs abut the first pushing panels. The portions of the inner pushing parts abutting the first pushing panels serve as fulcrums to straighten the filter core and the filter frame, so outer pushing parts of the limiting ribs may abut the clamping surfaces of the housing and generate a strong torque and a tightly sealing effect without much effort. The side cover also abuts the filter frame when assembled on the housing, so the filter frame is under balanced pressure to avoid leak.

    Abstract: A gluing method of a filter cartridge includes: preparing a filter core and a filter frame; disposing them in a lower mold with the filter frame under the filter core; filling glue on top of the lower mold, extending the glue to a gluing segment of the filter frame and an outer surface of the filter core; pressing down an upper mold toward the lower mold to cut the glue into an inner glue segment and an outer glue segment. The inner glue segment is pressed in between the filter frame and the filter core, coated around the gluing segment to increase adhering area. Pressure from the upper mold enhances the adhering effect. The cutting removes surplus glue and the glue is formed into a desired shape, thus the method is quick, accurate and consistent.

The filter frame is mounted around an axial end of the filter core and has a frame body, an abutting segment, and a gluing segment. The gluing segment axially protrudes from and annularly extends around the abutting segment, and surrounds the filter core. The glue is coated on and is wrapped around the gluing segment, extends into a position between the gluing segment and the filter core, and attaches to an inner gluing surface of the gluing segment, an outer gluing surface of the gluing segment, and an outer surface of the filter core. Therefore, the adhering area between the glue and the filter frame is effectively increased.

    Abstract: A filter core and manufacturing method thereof, the manufacturing method has the following steps: adhering a wavy filtering sheet and a flat filtering sheet, pressing the filtering sheets, and rolling the filtering sheets. A part of peaks of the wavy filtering sheet are pressed to lean toward a same side. In particular, two sides of a first end sealing adhesive layer are pressed. Thus, the first end sealing adhesive layer is concentrated, such that the glue is uniformly spread to the two sides. Besides, the pressing on the two sides makes the two sides of the first end sealing adhesive layer adhered securely, thereby preventing the wavy filtering sheet from rebounding upward and forming bubbles. Thus, the first end sealing adhesive layer can be formed with less quantity of glue, which accelerating the cooling and raises manufacture efficiency.

Third, the pressed peaks lean toward a same direction, such that there are gaps large enough disposed between any two peaks in arching portions of the innermost circles of the filter core in the outlet side, which ensures the channels are unobstructed.

    Abstract: A filter core has a wavy filtering sheet and a flat filtering sheet. The filtering sheets are for filtering suspended pollutants and respectively have multiple corrugations axially arranged apart from each other. Therefore, channels formed between the filtering sheets also have corrugations formed on inner walls of the channels after the filtering sheets are adhered. The corrugations on the inner walls of the channels are also axially arranged apart from each other and form concave and convex portions. As a result, when fluid, such as air, axially moves in the channels, the suspended pollutants on the fluid may hit, gather and accumulate on the corrugations, thereby slowing the fluid flow and providing one more filtering process. In addition, the corrugations on the filtering sheets also increase a filtering area. To sum up, the filter core can enhance the filtering effect.

    Abstract: An air filter has a housing, a filter core, a resilient abutting element, a sleeve, a threaded rod bracket, a threaded rod and a nut. The axial sealing is achieved by axially compressing the resilient abutting element, such that the user does not have to apply much physical effort to compress the resilient abutting element. The user can easily push the filter core into the housing, and then rotates and tightens the nut, which can axially compress the resilient abutting element. It is easy to apply force on rotating the nut, and better still, the nut can be rotated by an electric tool, which further facilitates the convenience in assembling. Besides, the nut only abuts the sleeve, and the threaded rod bracket does not abut the filter core. Consequently, the filter core is not blocked, thereby making the air smoothly pass through the filter core.
