Abstract: The present disclosure relates to assembling elastic laminates that may be used to make absorbent article components. Methods herein may include an anvil adapted to rotate about an axis of rotation, wherein first and second spreader mechanisms adjacent the anvil roll are axially and angularly displaced from each other with respect to the axis of rotation. During the assembly process, a substrate may be advanced in a machine direction onto the rotating anvil. The first spreader mechanism stretches a first elastic material in the cross direction, and the second spreader mechanism stretches a second elastic material in the cross direction. The stretched first and second elastic materials advance from the spreader mechanisms and onto the substrate on the anvil roll. The combined and elastic materials may then be ultrasonically bonded together on the anvil to form at least one elastic laminate.

Abstract: An absorbent article includes a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, an absorbent core being disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet, wherein the absorbent core include san absorbent material disposed in an absorbent deposition area and enclosed in a core wrap. The core further includes a swelling chamber disposed in between two external zones. The absorbent material comprises superabsorbent polymer. One or more permanent seals separate the chamber from each of the two external zones. The swelling chamber consists of absorbent material immobilized by water-responsive bonds, wherein said water-responsive bonds deteriorate upon exposure to water such that the absorbent material is flowable in the wet state; and the two external zones comprise absorbent material that is immobilized by thermoplastic adhesive, such that the absorbent material is immobilized in the wet state.

Abstract: A nonwoven fabric. The nonwoven fabric can include a first surface and a second surface and a visually discernible pattern of three-dimensional features on one of the first or second surface. Each of the three-dimensional features can define a microzone comprising a first region and a second region. The first and second regions can have a difference in values for an intensive property, and wherein in at least one of the microzones the first region exhibits a Contact Angle of greater than 90 degrees, as measured by the Contact Angle Test Method detailed herein.

Abstract: A volatile composition dispenser includes a housing having opposing first and second walls that are joined along their peripheries to one another. The first wall has an aperture and the second wall has a plurality of apertures. Within the housing, rests a volatile composition cartridge and a gap, which exists between the cartridge and a bottom surface of the housing, wherein said bottom surface is formed from a joinder of a base portion of one or both of the first and second walls, and wherein, upon activation, the exposure percentage of the dispenser is from about 40% to about 90%; wherein at least about 60% of the total surface area of the plurality of apertures results from individual apertures of said plurality that each have an area of at least 30 mm2 and an aspect ratio of at least about 1:2.
Abstract: Multi-phase oral care compositions for whitening teeth, including hydrophilic bleaching agent particles in a hydrophobic phase with a melting point of from about 40° C. to about 80° C. Abstract: Three-dimensional (3D) image modeling systems and methods are disclosed herein for determining respective mid-section dimensions of individuals. Digital image(s) depicting at least a mid-section portion of an individual are obtained. A fit finder application (app) determines a rough 3D model based on the digital image(s). A parametric 3D model of a predefined individual is mapped to the rough 3D model in virtual 3D space to generate a fitted 3D model indicative of a physical size of at least the mid-section portion of the individual in ordinary space. A mid-section dimension of the individual is then determined based on the fitted 3D model.
