Abstract: A three dimensional printed article having a composite image printed thereon is disclosed. The composite image includes top and bottom artwork portions printed on the top and bottom surfaces of the printed article substrate. Both artwork portions are visible through a translucent or transparent substrate, thereby forming a visible composite image. The substrate can be a non-woven web. By printing on both surfaces of the substrate, the three dimensional printed article provides a good quality, aesthetically pleasing three-dimensional image that limits the loss of color and appearance of fuzz during normal use of the article. The three-dimensional printed article allows a more versatile creation of process colors and reduces the number of spot colors required to print the composite image. The three-dimensional printed article can be integrated into an absorbent article, such as a diaper. A method of printing the three-dimensional printed article and forming the absorbent article are also disclosed.

Abstract: This invention relates to compositions comprising hydrophobically modified cationic polymers as well as processes of making and using such compositions. Such hydrophobically modified cationic polymers may be added to the composition in a variety of ways including, but not limited to, as a component of a particle. Advantages of such compositions include the ability to selectively increase the deposition of benefit agents without effectively increasing deposition of undesired materials.

Abstract: An absorbent article comprises a lateral axis defining a front portion and a back portion in the absorbent article, a topsheet, and a backsheet. The absorbent article further comprises an absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet. The backsheet comprises a first backsheet zone positioned at least partially in the front portion, and a second backsheet zone positioned in the back portion. The first and second backsheet zones differ from each other in at least one physical property. The physical property is basis weight, thickness, density, and/or tensile modulus. The second backsheet zone overlaps a portion of the absorbent core in the back portion. The second backsheet zone is not bonded to the absorbent core in the area of overlap.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an absorbent article comprising a liquid impervious backsheet formed from a laminate. The liquid impervious backsheet may include at least three layers, a first layer forming the wearer facing side of the backsheet, a second layer forming the garment facing side of the backsheet, and a third layer partially but not fully covering the garment facing surface of the second layer. The first layer may include at least one first indicium on a garment-facing surface thereof and only present on a front half of the backsheet, the at least one first indicium being visible through said second and third layers when looking at the absorbent article from the garment facing side of backsheet.
Abstract: Disposable pant like garments are disclosed. Pant like garments of the present invention generally comprise a main absorbent portion and a pair of side portions. One or more sections of the pant-like garments are provided with one or more cohesive areas which allow for cohesive fastening and refastening of portions of the garment. The cohesives chosen may have the same properties or may be of the selective adhesive type. Pant like garments may be provided with cohesive fasteners and not other types of refastening means. In other variations, cohesive fasteners may be supplemented with one or more frangible bonds. Also disclosed are side portions having cohesive areas which may be converted in use from an abutting facing relationship to an overlapping facing relationship. Multiple cohesive areas of varying types for providing differential bond properties during use are also disclosed.

Abstract: An absorbent product comprises a seal along one or more edges. The seal may be formed using a cohesive or selective adhesive. The seal prevents contamination of the wearer-facing surface of an individual absorbent product without requiring an overwrap or other individual unit packaging. The absorbent product may also comprise one or more removable trim regions for sealing and shaping the absorbent product.
Abstract: A system for delivering information through a computer. The system comprises: data collecting means for collecting personal data including menstrual data regarding a menstrual cycle on a woman from a user; phase identification means for identifying a phase within the menstrual cycle; storage means for storing predetermined information; selection means for selecting information from the storage means, which is personalized based on the phase identified by the phase identification means; and delivery means for delivering the personalized information.
Abstract: Material dispensing systems and methods for make such systems are described. The material dispensing systems employ a collapsible container having at least two distinct chambers, and is at least partially surrounded by an elastically deformable band. The band stretches as the container is filled with a flowable composition, thereby creating potential energy which can then be used to dispense the composition in lieu of a propellant and/or pressurized container.
