  • Patent number: 11255094
Abstract: A method and system for the application of foam insulation onto a surface or into a cavity include a sheet with an aperture, where the sheet covers or partially covers the surface or a cavity with the aperture adjacent to the surface or cavity. A pressure-activated foam generator which generates foam is coupled with the sheet. The pressure-activated foam generator includes a frangible output seal with a ruptured position. The pressure-activated foam generator is positioned so that in the ruptured position the foam has a path from the frangible output seal through the aperture and onto the surface or into the cavity. The sheet is connected to cover or partially cover the surface or cavity, and the pressure-activated foam generator is activated and the foam flows onto the surface or into the cavity.

  • Patent number: 10945381
Abstract: A pole saw apparatus includes a saw blade, a pole, and a tubular adapter connecting the saw blade to the pole. The adapter includes an obround blade-receiving end that stably telescopingly engage sides of the blade-receiving end, with bolts fixing the blade on the adapter. The adapter also includes a pole-engaging end that is cylindrically shaped to telescopingly engage the anchoring end of the pole. A friction clamp includes a transverse shaft extending through the pole, the shaft being shaped to slide into longitudinal slots in the pole-engaging end of the adapter and then rotate into circumferential slots where it is not longitudinally removable. A rotatable cam handle on the clamp is manipulated to create circumferential friction to hold (or release) the adapter on the pole. The blade, adapter and pole align along a common centerline for robust and balanced use.

  • Publication number: 20100251665
Abstract: A machine for inflating and sealing an inflatable structure having a longitudinal edge generally comprises a drive, an inflation nozzle, a sealing device, and a sheet engagement device. The machine may define an engaging assembly and an opposing assembly. The drive may be rotationally coupled to the sheet engagement device such that when the drive rotates, the engagement device also rotates. The engagement device may include a first belt and an opposing second belt which may each have a plurality of teeth thereon. The teeth may intermesh between a drive roller and a backing roller on the longitudinal edge of the inflatable structure. Thereby, the sheets of the inflatable structure may be engaged together and the length of the longitudinal edge may contract to facilitate inflation. The resulting inflated inflatable structure may comprise an embossed longitudinal edge.

  • Patent number: 5328400
Abstract: A doll contains a fabric fastener, such as "Velcro", on the backside, simulating a backbone. A turntable holds the doll in upright position with arms uplifted. A consecutive series of garment sections, each depicting a separate article of clothing, is spooled onto a rotatable cylinder, spaced from the turntable, with the front end section of the spooled garment containing a complementary fabric fastener connected to the fabric fastener on the doll's backside. By rotating the doll about its vertical axis an article of clothing is dispensed from the cylinder and is wrapped about the doll's torso to dress the doll. The doll's clothing is effectively changed by rotating the doll further to dispense the next article of clothing and wrap the latter in overlying relationship with the first article of clothing about the doll's torso. This action may be continued for as many different articles of wrap around clothing as is contained on the cylinder.

  • Patent number: 4998902
Abstract: An improved toppling toy is characterized by a resetting capability that comprises a plurality of finger tip operated actuators, each of which is associated with and coupled to an associated one of the pivotally mounted tiles for joint pivotal movement therewith; and each actuator contains an outer actuator surface exposed on the upper surface of the track to a players finger, such outer surface having a frictional characteristic, whereby dragging movement of the players finger along a finger dragging lane on the track and across and transverse the actuator when the tile is in the down position causes pivoting of the actuator and thereby uprights the associated tile. Suitably the actuator and tile are formed in a unitary one piece structure of molded plastic material. A novel track contains rods to serve as a pivot for the tiles and is also formed of a unitary one piece assembly of molded plastic material.
