Abstract: A manually operated childproof dispenser has a plunger head located at an upper end of a housing and is axially displaceable from an initial position and rotatable relative to the housing. The plunger head has an annular skirt with a notch. A ring having a notch surrounds and is rotatable about the skirt. The ring is axially displaceable together with the plunger head. A dispensing nozzle extends radially outward from the housing and is located below the ring. The notches are aligned with the nozzle to facilitate depression of the plunger head to dispense the desired product.

Abstract: A stable, edible anhydrous aerosol foam comprises a foamable liquid oil, a foaming agent, a food grade propellant, and at least 15 wt % dispersed solid particles including an adsorbate of an active therapeutic agent on magnesium aluminum silicate. The foam is a stable whip having the consistency of whipped cream and can be dispensed in repeatable and measurable quantities onto a spoon. It is useful to dispense a wide variety of active, therapeutic agents and, in particular, as an alternative to tablets or capsules which are hard to swallow or liquid medicines having a bad taste.

Abstract: A medicine spoon has a spoon bowl with a handle, and a flat cover completely covers the bowl in a closed position in which the cover bears against the edge of the bowl. The cover has a handle attached to the bowl handle for pivotal movement between the closed and open positions, and the cover has an opening through which an amount of a foam product from a dispenser may be fed to the bowl in the closed position of the cover. The underside of the cover scrapes along the upper edge of the bowl for wiping the underside clean during movement of the cover to its open position. Stop shoulders in the form of continuous flanges are provided on the bowl and cover for both limiting the cover to its completely closed position and for preventing leakage of product through the cover when filling.

Abstract: A pocket hair brush having a self-contained cover in an integral unit formed of a thermoplastic polymeric resin and includes a backing plate flexible rectangular panel having integrally formed bristles projecting from a face thereof. Rectangular side panels are joined to the backing plate by self-hinges and rectangular wing panels are joined to the side panel outer side edges and form dihedral angles therewith. A short notch is medially formed along the junction between one of the side and wing panels and extensions with enlarged ends are medially formed at opposite sides of the other wing panel. The side and wing panels are swingable between a closed position covering the bristles and releasably locked by coupling of one extension and the slot and an open rearwardly directed handle defining position with the other extension engaging the slot.
