Abstract: A wheel hub assembly for tension spoke wheels is provided. The wheel hub assembly has a construction that automatically adjusts the position of the axle bearings along the rotational axis of the hub assembly to take-up slack between the axle bearings and the hub shell to prevent wheel wobble.
Abstract: A releasable freewheel clutch includes a ring gear and a driven member disposed within a bore of the ring gear. A plurality of pawls are each pivotally attached to the driven member and rotatable between a first position where each pawl is engaged with teeth of the ring gear and a second position where each pawl is disengaged with the teeth of the ring gear. The pawls are selective movable between the engaged and disengaged positions by a ring-shaped blocking element that is rotatably supported for rotation about the axis of rotation and relative to the driven member.
Abstract: A rear housing has a vertical bore for receipt of a bicycle fork tube and a horizontal bore for receipt of a movable piston slightly longer than the length of the horizontal bore. A front housing has a concave rear portion cooperating with a concave front portion of the rear housing to form a gripping enclosure for a bicycle handlebar. Threaded bores in the front housing are aligned axially with threaded bores in the rear housing so that tightening down on the front housing to the rear housing with threaded bolts causes the handlebar to be gripped tightly and the movable piston is urged backwardly to tightly hold the fork tube.

Abstract: A longitudinal axle is centered within a shell housing welded to a bicycle frame. A portion of each end of the axle engages a bicycle crank. Threaded male and female bracket are threadably engaged around the axle within the shell housing. A bearing is mounted within an outboard portion of each bracket and is held in place by an end cap. An outer rim of the outboard portion of each bracket has an irregular surface for engagement with a wrench to take the bracket apart.
