Abstract: A salad spinner includes an outer bowl configured to hold an inner basket. The bowl and basket are each configured with a central post supported by a base structure having a pillar and a piston. A helical screw positioned within the pillar engages a drive shaft within the piston in order to rotate the drive shaft as the piston moves upward and downward with respect to the pillar. A spring biases the piston in the upward position to enable reciprocal telescoping movement.

Abstract: An onion chopper includes a food reservoir supporting a blade tray and having a lid attached for pivotal movement toward and away from the lid and blade tray. The lid includes at least one grid of projections configured to push through a corresponding grid of blades in the blade tray to chop the onion. A cleaning grid is provided for attachment to the grid of blades. The grid of blades forms a peripheral skirt surrounding a lower container for collecting bits of chopped onion or other foods.
Abstract: A collapsible food keeper is selectively positionable between an expanded position and a collapsed position, in which the food keeper may be used to contain food items such as eggs in both positions. In one version, an upper container portion is telescopically connected to a lower container portion, with a lid removably attached to the upper container and a base removably attached to the lower container.
Abstract: A collapsible produce keeper is selectively positionable between an expanded position and a collapsed position, in which the produce keeper may be used to contain produce in both positions. In one version, an upper container portion is telescopically connected to a lower container portion, with a lid removably attached to the upper container and a base removably attached to the lower container.
Abstract: A peeler is formed with a tubular main body having a first open end, an opposing second open end, and a hollow interior extending from the first open end to the second open end. The tubular main body is formed from a first flexible material allowing the tubular main body to deform under pressure by a use. A pick is attached to the first open end and extends away from the second open end, the pick being formed from a second material, the second material being different from the first material and further being relatively more rigid than the first material.
Abstract: A scoop for use in scooping and dispensing a powdered item such as powdered sugar includes a first bowl or spoon connected to a second bowl or spoon by a stem. A lid is attached to the top of the scoop, and is selectively movable to cover the first or second spoon. In some versions, one of the spoons or the lid may include a section of mesh.
Abstract: A splatter screen includes a splatter screen frame and a mesh secured to the frame. A handle is mounted to the frame for pivotal movement so that it is positionable between a collapsed position for storage and an extended position for grasping. The handle includes a handle base, enabling the screen to rest upright on a countertop and to be supported by the handle base and the frame.
Abstract: A cookie dough tray is formed with a substantially rigid frame having a plurality of cavities formed from an elastomeric material, each of the cavities being sized to accommodate dough for a single cookie. The cavities may include a convex bottom portion to facilitate inversion of the cavities for removal of the dough.

Abstract: A salad spinner includes a lid with openings to allow water to pass through the lid and into the bowl, or from the bowl out through the lid. The bowl includes openings on a bottom portion of the bowl to allow water to pass through the bottom of the bowl. A removable cover allows the bottom portion of the bowl to be selectively sealed.
Abstract: A mandoline slicer includes a slicing blade and an adjustable slicing ramp. A series of julienne blades is selectively movable between a stowed and a deployed position above the ramp. At a distal end of the ramp, a blade support is positionable to select either of a plurality of slicing blades.
Abstract: A snap-fit fruit scoop set includes a first, second, and third fruit scoop, each of the first, second, and third fruit scoops having a corresponding cutting hoop and a handle secured to the cutting hoop. Each of the first, second, and third fruit scoops also includes a locking feature formed on the applicable cutting hoop to enable the first, second, and third fruit scoops to be attached to one another via the locking features.
Abstract: A bag clip comprises a pair of opposing jaws configured for resilient movement between an open position in which the jaws are apart from one another and a closed position in which the jaws are adjacent one another. An indicator wheel attached to the clip includes indicators that may correspond to dates on which the bag was opened and the clip was attached. A second indicator wheel may be included, in which the first wheel may correspond to months of the year and the second wheel may correspond to days of the month.
Abstract: A spiral slicer for producing spiral-cut fruits and vegetables, includes a main body supporting a shaft operated by a crank handle. Rotation of the crank handle selectively moves a pusher, which attaches to a fruit or vegetable toward a set of julienne blades and a main slicing blade. The fruit or vegetable is cut by the julienne blades and then by the main blade, with the sliced portion passing through a gap positioned between the julienne blades and the main blade.

Abstract: A cone-type spiral slicer includes a blade along the sidewall for cutting a vegetable into thin strips. The housing is formed in a first portion and a second portion that are separable from one another. A retractable set of julienne blades allows the user to selectively use the slicer for cutting either wide strips or narrow julienne strips.
